Hello from Tipperary in the heart of Ireland. You are very welcome to my world. Yes, you will be happy to know that I am a human being, but first and foremost i am a Spirit Being on earth and everything i do is aligned with the Divine Energy that I Am. I share my Light principally as a singer songwriter and sound healer. My intention in living this life, is to assist in the manifestation of Heaven on Earth. It is a mission i share with an ever increasing band of people all around the world, there are billions of us, some of us simply just don’t know it yet. This mission has inspired me recently to leave my family home and a very comfortable life and live in my forest, off grid, on my own, me and the trees, following the promptings of my heart.
As more and more volunteers come to my forest, it is clear that primarily I offer a spiritual experience in which the volunteer gets to know him or herself better than ever before while helping me create my dream of divine consciousness. In short each person that comes here is on a journey within, a journey to the Divine presence that they are. This forest calls on all here to make a commitment to themselves.
Its a 9acre forest on a south facing slope, consisting of 7200 deciduous trees which were planted in 2001. The views to the Mountains are stunning. If you are looking for a peaceful secluded natural environment to spend some time in Ireland then this could be the place for you. Please be clear that this is a rustic off grid experience with basic facilities at present. Temporary accommodation consists of a mobile home for visitors and volunteers and a caravan for myself. The peace and quite is what draws me here, a yearning for relaxation which has brought many challenges that in turn has gifted me the strenght to love like never before.
The main priority is to build a small strawbale cabin as gracefully and relaxedly as i possibly can, with a view to creating a work of art. There are also other allied projects to be completed as listed below. No previous experience is required for any of the projects listed.
As it is a priority that each volunteer is on a personal journey of self discovery, I ask that you are genuinely interested in and respectful of the vibration i am creating here, that you are courteous and respectful to all who come here, that you keep the mobile home tidy, that you do not take alcohol or drugs (excluding plant medicine) during your time here, that you only smoke outdoors and that you are contactable at all times in case of emergency

I have been a workaway volunteer myself for 2 years travelling around Europe. So i have an understanding of what ingredients produce a good experience.
Acknowledging that we all perceive things differently, what i see here in my forest is peace and quite, a simple off grid life with a strong alignment to the Divine, opportunities to express myself in song and sound and dreaming of a wonderful dance space some day. In exchange for your presence, energy and 5 hours work 5 days a week, i offer you in return an opportunity to connect with nature, to feel Ireland in your bones, to relax and unwind, to gain some basic eco building/forestry experience, to improve your english and most of all to get to know Your Spirit and Your Light like never before, inspiring you to be the best version of you, you have ever known. This is an experience of self realisation.
Building a strawbale eco cabin and plastering with clay
Chopping and stacking timber
Cutting down small willow trees and creating willow fences
Clearing brambles and creating walks through the forest
Cooking and Cleaning
Willow sculpture and other art creations, resonating with the vibrations of my dream and using the natural resources of the forest, are encouraged and welcomed
Creating an outdoor/indoor dance space
All volunteers will be accommodated in the 3 bed mobile home, which is situated in a large clearing in the centre of the forest, so it gets lots of sunlight. These bedrooms are unheated, so they will be comfortable from May to September. If someone wishes to come during the colder days of autumn and winter, i am open to discussing their request. Pillows and duvets are provided. Please bring your own sleeping bag, towel and soap. I sleep in an adjacent caravan
There is solar power with enough capacity to give each volunteer a light in the bedroom and a charging point for a phone and pc.
The mobile home has a Kitchen, with hob, oven and sink. Perishable food is kept cool in a cold box outside. Fresh running water from my well is available in the mobile home kitchen tap. An outdoor compost toilet and a gravity fed solar shower area are provided. The shower will have lukewarm water on sunny days only from April to September. The mobile home also has a dining/living space in which there is a wood burning stove, a guitar, bodhrán, glockenspiel, singing owl, flute and whistles. Some dvds are available for which you need to bring your own device
There is no wifi in the forest. However there is a reasonably good signal for mobile data, and my phone can be a hotspot for one hour per day if required.
Food is mostly vegetarian/vegan/organic. For breakfast i provide oats/cereals, cheese, rice milk, yogurt, fresh fruit, dried fruit, seeds, local honey and sometimes bread. Dinner is usually rice/lentils/potatoes/salads with vegetable stirfry/stew, lighter foods in warmer weather. Please let me know if there is any specific food you would like. If you are cooking, it will be taken as part of your 5 hour day.
CARE FOR THE ENVIRONMENT
I reduce, reuse and recycle very consciously, aware of my place in the cycle of life, caring for the earth with every breath i take. I ask that each volunteer separates their waste into whatever containers are provided and that the trees and plants, insects, animals, the birds and the bees in my forest are all treated with respect.
During summer please bring an old long sleeved and or short sleeved shirt, trousers, sun hat, an old rain jacket and shoes or boots. Wellingtons, waterproofs, warm jacket and warm boots are good to have during winter. Slip on footwear is very convenient when going in and out of the mobile home.
There is no washing machine here. Please bring clothes that are easily washed by hand.
A 4 person tent is available, which is warm inside from May/June to August/September
In case you have to visit the doctor and if you are eligible, it is advisable to have a European Health Insurance card
SUGGESTED ACTIVITIES :
It is important to know that i respect each volunteers private space, their likes and dislikes. We are all unique beautiful individuals. I do not assume that because you come and stay at my place that we are going to get along like a house on fire. If that happens to be the case, that would be wonderful, but its an added extra. Be assured that it is entirely up to each person to spend their free time as they wish.
A small village is within walking distance with restaurant, small shop open 7days, pub, petrol pumps and post box. There are 2 caravan parks in the area and its a 5 minute drive to the nearest hotel.
Tipperary town is 15minute drive away with shops, supermarkets, cafes, pubs, a swimming pool, library, small art gallery, cinema and theatre. I drive to Tipperary Town once maybe twice a week and i can offer you a lift at those times
Local Attractions include:
1. Superb walking trails through the Glen of Aherlow and up the Galtee Mountains. My forest is on some of these walking trails.
2. Some small megalithic monuments and early christian buildings close by
3. Cahir Castle
4. The Rock of Cashel
5. The megalithic stone circle at Lough Gur
TRAVELLING FROM ABROAD:
Dublin Airport is the most convenient. Best time to arrive in Dublin Airport is sometime before 3pm if you wish to come straight to my place by train. At the time of writing, September 2019, this was the best public transport option
Take the 747 bus to Dublin Heuston Train Station. The 747 leaves outside Terminal 1 usually every 10 or 15 mins. Allow 1hr and 30mins for that trip. Take train travelling in the direction of Cork, get off at Limerick Junction. Last train leaves at 19.00. The journey takes 1 hour and 40mins approximately.
I can pick you up and drop you back at no cost to this train.
Please note: Limerick Junction Train Station is 2 km outside Tipperary town. It is 35km from Limerick City.
Dublin port: There are some public transport connections to the city centre where you can catch the train mentioned above. Check with your ferry company.
Rosslare Harbour: There is a bus that leaves for Tipperary Town about 5 times each day. It takes about 3hr 30min. Check Buseireann website for bus timetable
TRAVELLING FROM WITHIN IRELAND :
Plan to arrive in Tipperary Town and i can pick you up and drop you back there at no cost.

UPDATE: 2O May 2019
3 volunteers have joined me this month and we have made great progress in clearing the forest and stacking logs. The site has been cleared for the strawbale cabin and holes for the foundation piers are being dug.
UPDATE 7 JUNE 2019
Foundation concrete block piers are now complete, see photos. Materials are coming soon for floor and walls. Yippee!! Big thanks to my volunteers are all their great assistance
UPDATE 11 JULY 2019
Ground floor is in place. Strawbales have arrived. Proceeding to get all the rooftimbers cut before we build walls. Once again, great work by all the volunteers, all of which is so appreciated. You are all helping to make my dreams come true. Thank you so much. :-) 4 person tent now available, warm from May/June to August/September
UPDATE 5 AUG 2019
Strawbale walls built, starting on the loft and roof next. My volunteers are fabulous. Overflowing gratitude to them all
UPDATE 21 AUG 2019
The roof timbers and membrane are up. So I am now permanently waterproof for the first time. No more taking on and off plastic sheets. Yippee!! I did however discover a leak in 2 bales and they are been replaced. 19 years ago I bought this land, planted the trees and designed a path running through them. I had become accustomed to regarding the path as a dream on paper. It was a very emotional moment when my volunteers revealed to me the path they created in line with the designs I penned so many years ago. A special moment. Thank you to all the volunteers envolved
UPDATE 21 OCT 2019
The roof tiles are on and the walls are been prepared for interior earth plastering. However exterior lime plastering is not advised during frosty weather, so that will not be completed until spring. Meanwhile, focus moves to forest maintenance, the completion of a stone bridge and water pool and plans for a vegetable garden. Again many thanks to all the wonderful volunteers who help to make my dreams come true.
