  Beschreibung

  We live on the beautiful Island Bornholm. We means me, Helle 37 years old, halv of the time my two amazing kids Klara 10 years and Bjørn 6 years. We also have a cat, chicken and ducks.
  Our place is 4500 m2, at the counryside with the nearest village 4 km away, and a bigger city 10 km away. I am very inspired by permaculture, and working on living sustainable and self sufficient with as many things as possible. I am working part time outside the house, so dividing my time between that, work at my own place, the kids (that are homeschooled) activities and some activities like climbing, going to the sauna, running etc. We dont have a car, so we are biking a lot, only once in a while we borrow a car.

  We are a part of a big home-schooling community, and if you are interested you are welcome to join the meetings and meet other families with similar family values.
  I have a PDC (permaculture design certificate) and other different courses, and will happily share my knowledge with you.
  If you are into climbing you can join me on the rocks.
  I would love to hear about your culture, life, philosophy - and share mine. I traveled a lot when I was younger, and now its time to bring the world here instead:)

  Arbeit

  I mainly need help for the garden, both because i think its more fun working together with someone, and because its a lot of work for one person. There will be many different kind of tasks, some of them will be weeding, hitting grass with scythe, mulching around fruit trees, picking herbs, planting and sawing, watering, cutting down blackberry etc. Besides that your ideas for projects are very welcome - if you are eager to do a herb spiral, build a space for over winthering root vegetables, making a cozy space with evening sun, that is what we do! Its a space still having a lot of potential, so according to your skills, ideas and wishes we can adjust which task fits you. But some rather physical garden help will be part of it always, so you should like this:) Sometimes you will be working together with me, sometimes alone, and sometimes with me, my kids and friends around, so its good if this all works for you.
  
  Of course we also have to cook, clean and other housework things - and the kids are happy if someone wants to play a game or read a book with them, so as we hope to include you as part of the family there will probably be some housework tasks for you as well:)

  The kids only speak Danish, but I hope that having a workawayer will help them learn English, so be prepared to have patience communicating with them:)

  Unterkunft

  You will have your own cozy tiny house while your are here. It has a stove and a compost toilet. Shower is in the main house. It has a small tea kitchen, but most meals we will eat together. We eat vegetarian, organic, simple whole food, with as much as possible from our own garden. I bake my own bread with sourdough, make kefir and sauerkraut so if this has your interest you can learn something here.
  Its important for me to use all resources consciously, so that also includes saving water and electricity, and I hope you will share that consciousness with us.

  Was noch ...

  Bornholm is a very nice Island for all kinds of outdoor life. Many nice places to visit on your free days. We provide bikes, both a normal one a an e-bike. Or you can take the bus most places.
