Beschreibung
We are a small ecotourism lodge in development. We run on solar energy and basic dry toilets. We have a cat (Pandora) and a dog (Yin)
The house is surrounded by nature and 15 minutes by car from the city of La Paz with its beautiful boardwalk, where you will have restaurants, bars, ice cream parlor, pharmacies, bakery, grocery stores, etc. We are about 30 minutes by transport from the beaches, but we have an incredible view of the bay and the sunsets. If you contribute for gasoline we can take you to the best non-touristy beaches. 😉

Somos una pequeña posada ecoturística en desarrollo. Funcionamos con energía solar y baño seco básicos. Tenemos una gata (Pandora) y una perra (Yin)
La casa está rodeada de naturaleza y a 15min en auto de la ciudad de La Paz con su hermoso malecón, donde tendrás restaurantes, bares, heladería, farmacias, panadería, abarroterías, etc. Estamos a unos 30min en transporte de las playas, pero tenemos una vista increíble de la bahía y los atardeceres. Si aportas para la gasolina podemos llevarte a las mejores playas no turísticas. 😉

You can go for walks in the forest. You will be in direct contact with nature and its sounds. La Paz is a very welcoming and quiet city, the walks along the boardwalk are the best and if you have a good budget you can take a boat trip to see the marine fauna and enjoy the best beaches. Imagine our space as a retreat. Some volunteers have rented a motorcycle or car to get around more easily, but we usually go down to the city at least once a week and we can take you. The road is 800m long and you can reach it.
Puedes realizar caminatas por el bosque. Estarás en contacto directo con la naturaleza y sus sonidos. La Paz es una Ciudad muy acogedora y tranquila, los paseos por el malecón son los mejores y si tienes buen presupuesto puedes hacer algún viaje en lancha para ver la fauna marina y disfrutar de las mejores playas. Imagina nuestro espacio como un retiro. Algunos voluntarios han rentado moto o auto para moverse más fácil, pero solemos bajar a la ciudad al menos una vez por semana y podemos llevarte.
La carretera está a 800m y puedes pedir que te lleven.
Arbeit
All volunteers must clean the communal spaces and the bnb. We have a loft for rent and three house buses. Our garden is very extensive so it will be a task that will take up a lot of time, picking up dog feces to avoid flies and firewood for the guests. We also need you to take care of the place in our absence and attend to guests who do not speak Spanish if they speak their language. Pamper the pets. Build if you know how to do it, shovel dirt, fix paths, flatten spaces, paint, repair, carpentry, plumbing, etc. If you are a designer or digital manager, there is a lot to do. If you know about permaculture, obtaining lost funds, green building, etc. You would be a great help.

Tod@s l@s voluntari@s deben hacer la limpieza de los espacios colectivos y el bnb. Tenemos un Loft en renta y tres casasbuses. Nuestro jardín es muy extenso por lo que será una labor que ocupará gran parte del tiempo, recoger heces de los perros para evitar las moscas. También necesitamos cuiden el lugar en nuestra ausencia y atiendan a los huéspedes que no hablen español si hablan su idioma. Mimar a las mascotas. Construir si sabes hacerlo, palear tierra, arreglar caminos, aplanar espacios, pintar, reparar, carpintería, plomería, etc. Si eres diseñador(a) o manager digital, hay mucho por hacer. Si sabes de permacultura, obtención de fondos perdidos, bioconstrucción, etc. Serías de gran ayuda.

It varies, for the moment we use the buses when they are not rented and a cave-like basement with good light. Very basic bathroom. You will have water to drink (don't buy bottles, less plastic is possible), salt, sugar, oil. Shared two-burner stove for you to prepare your food. We usually share some meals or have competitions to see who cooks the best. It's like camping in the middle of the forest, far away from everything.

Es variable, por el momento usamos los buses cuando no se rentan y un sótano tipo cueva con buena luz. Baño muy básico. Tendrás agua para beber (No compres botellas, menos plástico es posible), sal, azucar, aceite. Estufa de dos hornillas compartida para que prepares tus alimentos. Solemos compartir algunas comidas o hacer competencias de quien cocina más rico. Es como acampar en medio del bosque, alejados de todo.
