Beschreibung
If you love animals and enjoy nature and a quiet pace of life then this is the spot for you. We have recently moved and are located in Crawford Bay - in between Creston and Nelson BC, on Kootenay Lake and surrounded by the mountains in all directions. We are looking for a couple or two friends to look after Cujo the hound while we take a much needed break and visit family.
Cujo is a 10 year old rescue dog. He's a really good and smart boy but does need to exercise and stimulation otherwise he doesn't listen well if he has too much built up energy. We need someone that is experienced with dogs as he's strong and will be the boss with an inexperienced person. Because his nose gets the better of him he's on leash when we're around other dogs/people that we don't know. He's fine to stay home when we go out and he's more than happy to nap on the couch.
Cujo is used to getting three walks a day, usually a long one in the morning and mid day and just a quick one in the evening. During the day he sometimes like to play ball or fetch a stick but other than that he's pretty lazy and loves to snuggle. We have a garden which needs watering and possibly some weeding depending on the season.
Other than that, you're free to hike, enjoy the lake, play games, read a book, get online or hang out at the creek.

Beautiful setting in to mountains, hikes, swimming lakes, surrounded by nature and a great place to get away from the mayhem.

Walking the pooch and playing with him as well as some plant care is really all that is needed outside of disposing of garbage and keeping the house clean and tidy.

Unterkunft
Your own bedroom and your own own bathroom in our house. You will need to supply your own food when we are away but will have all the basics.
The first few days you arrive we will all be together so that you can get familiar with Cujo and he with you and we can show you around. During this time we take care of all the meals, unless you want to share a dish from your country :)
