You'll have the chance to learn about organic gardening, help care for our animals, and participate in exciting DIY projects. Living and sharing with the Family, we are multilingual. Our house is situated by the River Boyne in the heart of the UNESCO World Heritage Park and a short walk from Newgrange Visitor Centre, one of Irelands 'must see' tourist sights.
We love to grow and eat good food. We'd be delighted to share all our knowledge on organic gardening, harvesting, cooking and baking. We make jams, pickles and harvest honey from our bees.
We can also share our traditional building methods and DIY projects using ecological and salvaged materials.
In your free time, the local village of Slane offers an excellent coffee shop, pubs with traditional music evenings, sight seeing, historical walks and a museum.
Great opportunities for those interested in local history, river walks, photography, nature, art and all things vintage.Arbeit
We would like help in the garden, harvesting fruit, feeding the animals and projects like building sheds, refurbishing areas, creating and landscaping, repairing and painting, and cutting and stacking fire wood.
We have Bees which are also very interesting to work with.Sprachen
