I have lived in Porto for 6 yrs and know it rather well. I can show you nice places and hang out and show you the secret hidden Porto that not many visitors will get to see.
Arbeit
Looking after two cats and water the plants. All you have to do is let them in and out, give them cuddles and food. This would suit a couple who have been work-awaying for perhaps a while and just want some where easy with not too much work where they can be alone together with some privacy in a really cool city. Must be animal lovers with experience and good references.

Unterkunft
We have a house in the centre of town in the trendy area of Bonfim, as listed by the Guardian newspaper as one of the coolest neighbourhood in Europe to live. Our little area within Bonfim is called an “island” and these islands are quite particular to Porto and one part of China, built during the industrial revolution for workers. It is full of old charm and is very safe and every one knows each other; many generations of the same family have houses here and we are close to our community. On the days I am not here you can help yourself to any food and drink I've left for you in the house. Because we only have one bedroom, our workawayers will have to arrive on the day we leave and depart on the day I arrive back home. Don’t worry, I won’t leave you in the lurch, I’ll still make sure to spend time with you and show you the ropes and help you settle in. We look forward to meeting you.

Porto is an amazing city, twinned with Bristol in the UK. We live close (ten min walk) the historical centre, close to the river. There are many things to see and do. Go on a free walking tour, visit the river, the Port distilleries, take a train to the country and the beach. Bars are cheap and friendly. There is a cute park a few moments walk away, the amazing old bookshop that looks like it is from Harry Potter is in town, we have beautiful buildings....just come and soak up the atmosphere x x x
