Beschreibung
Over 25 years ago hitch hiking through the Yucatan Peninsula with our oldest son we encountered this piece of paradise. Veni, Vidi, Vici.
We are situated "off the grid" on the Costa Maya beach, 5 km south of Mahahual town, Quintana Roo, Mexico.
The Costa Maya is still a very natural environment with the 2nd largest barrier reef in front and a huge area of mangrove and wet lands behind. Divers paradise!
With the two of us we run a small cozy restaurant, open in the evenings where our international guests
come and enjoy a freshly prepared meal and good company.
Further more we have 1 rental units in our flower-full garden.
Our place runs fully on solar and wind power plus we catch our own rainwater.

They did a wonderful job, put in loads of energy and got a lot of things done.
They won't wait for you to ask, but will find things to do themselves.
We had entertaining conversations at lunch.
They left the place spic and span.
I highly recommend them.

We ended up making a funky bodega (tool shed) using all scrap material.
Marcel did a great job and was fun to work with and have conversations with after work.
