We are musicians/farmers who have two small children (3,5 year/5 yrs). we care a lot about nature, healthy soil, regenerating farmland while creating biodiversity and securing nutritious food. locally produced and locally consumed.
we love when things look beautiful and we dream about turning our spot on earth to a vivid place with some great respect for our nature and give room rest work and joy for people who live here and who come to visit.
we live in a small village in the southern part of the region Dalarna where our farm is one out of 6 in total. we're close to Dalälven river and there's a lot of birds around here. the place is quite far away from any city or light pollution so the night sky is great and it's quiet and serene. but there's also a lot going on, always. we work hard and are quite energetic people.
Update: We have limited sleeping places inside the big house at the moment - people with their own van or similar are much welcome <3 we have a nice newly built room in the barn where up to two people can stay.

depending on the season - learn how to take care of farm land, ski, and plow, make fires, play with our kids, grow vegetables, feed animals and take care of the animals on the site, build stuff and renovate old windows and furniture, make apple juice, collect mushrooms, cook food, cuddle with the cats and sheep, build something nice. we are happy to show you around whenever we have the possibility, although our kids are still small and need a lot of our parental attention when we're not working. so people who can entertain themselves will have a good time here. :)
the place here is calm, quiet, beautiful.

Update march 28th: we would love some help in the coming weeks from someone energetic (or preferably a couple or two friends) who's sturdy and capable of working some hours outside even though it's still not super warm. Someone who is responsible and independent and would want to help our hired staff with tearing down some old cottages out on the farmland in favour of some new builds that will later happen there.
*we also have lambing season coming up in April which means a lot of extra care and tending for the sheep.
*
-----------------
We have a farm here of 60 ha that we love and we want to share it with others. we grow vegetables, mainly for ourselves to enjoy, we have lots of fruit trees and berries to take care of, we have big farm land to handle and buildings and a garden to tend and use.
There are cats, chickens, sheep, cows, bees and small children at the site that crave attention and love if that's something you’re into. The village has about 20 people and a there's a lot of horses here also.
We work as musicians as our income based work and our work life is not always routine friendly, for better and for worse. periodically we are away for a few days here and there but we always make sure our lovely employee Pia is here since she knows the drill.
We just turned an old barn into a concert place where we arrange concerts in the summer and perhaps also some other fun stuff for our local community. the options and opportunities are nearly endless.
We're are always appreciating some help in the household to keep the everyday life running smooth :) Help with cooking is much appreciated, and depending on the season there are different types of outdoor tasks that we would love to have some help with. Help with feeding and caring for the animals is of course also much appreciated. At the moment we have something like 110 hens, about 20-30 sheep, 10 cows, bees and 2 cats.
This is a little bit of what we're doing project wise spring ‘22

we have a room out in our barn. it's quite small but cosy, it can take two persons. cooking, eating, hanging out is normally taking place in the big house.
The train to Stockholm City takes 1 hr 17 min from nearest train station (about 25 minutes), free bus rides in the whole municipality, there's also lots of beautiful nature to explore. österfärnebo national park with amazing canoeing is close and beautiful lakes and forests and rapids are right next to us.
we are open, generous, positive and flexible people

we always welcome people traveling in their own homes, and we can easily find a nice spot out somewhere on the farm or if more convenient closer to the main buildings.
