  This is a life project about Permaculture, located on the hills in the Province of Agrigento, along the Magna Via Francigena, which is a beautiful hiking and pilgrims' path in Sicily.
  It is immersed in the peaceful Sicilian countryside, in the midst of olive trees, almond trees, vineyards and various orchards.
  There is also a source of sulphurous water.
  The nearest town is located at 1.5 km, there you can find bars, restaurants, pizzerias, pharmacies, a swimming pool, and there is also an astronomical observatory.
  
  This project has just started, so there are numerous maintenance and cleaning tasks to do, such as construction projects, renovation of the house, and green rebuilding (rebuilding of the environment and the ecological landscapes).
  Other important activities include the harvesting of olives (for fermentation and oil), fruit harvesting for conservation, and vineyard vinification. You will also make bread, pizza, and have the opportunity to grow numerous trees and plants. You will also learn how to grow and maintain different plants and gardens.

  È un progetto di vita in Permacultura sulle colline della provincia di Agrigento, all'interno della Magna Via Francigena.
  È immerso nella pacifica campagna siciliana dove si trovano ulivi, mandorli, vigneti e frutti di ogni tipo.
  È presente anche una sorgente di acqua sulfurea.
  Il centro abitato più vicino è Montedoro e si trova a km 1,5 dove è possibile trovare bar, ristoranti, pizzerie, farmacie, la piscina comunale e l'osservatorio astronomico.
  Il progetto è appena nato, quindi bisogna fare numerosissimi lavori di manutenzione e pulizia, realizzazione di strutture e impianti agricoli, la ristrutturazione della casa in bioedilizia.
  Altra importante attività è la raccolta di olive, da mensa e da olio, della frutta, la cura degli orti con conseguente trasformazione in conserve, la gestione della vigna e la raccolta dell'uva per farne un vino naturale buonissimo.
  Qui puoi vivere una quotidianità semplice, imparando a fare tutto quello che può servire quotidianamente. Farai il pane, la pizza, potrai piantare numerosi alberi e piante, imparerai a gestire gli orti e a sapere quali piante mettere a dimora e come.
  
  Tutti i progetti in cui siamo aiutati dai volontari workawayers sono senza scopo di lucro ed i prodotti non vengono venduti.

  Sicilian culture and culinary art will be a daily experience and learning opportunity. You'll experience unconventional natural-oriented way of living and working together.
  Here we teach and practice many traditional ways to produce and store food.
  If you stay longer you will be able to enjoy the touristic attractions of this area of the island.
  You can practice and learn Italian!
  
  Sperimenterai molte tecniche diverse per curare la terra, coltivare cibo e implementare la biodiversità e la rigenerazione di paesaggi fertili. Pianifichiamo una ristrutturazione ecologica della casa, imparerai le tecniche di costruzione ecologica. La cultura e l'arte culinaria siciliana saranno un'esperienza quotidiana e un'opportunità di apprendimento. Sperimenterai un modo di vivere e lavorare insieme non convenzionale, orientato alla natura.
  Qui insegniamo e pratichiamo molti modi tradizionali per produrre e conservare il cibo.

  Unterkunft

  I provide accomodation in a shared bedroom in the country house of the property where you will have either your own room or share it, depending on the number of volunteers we have at one time. We live, cook, clean together and there is a common living space where in the evening you can socialize and chillout. We don't provide TV, nor internet (just in case of emergency i can share my phone internet -limited amount and not stable connection-).
  I provide meals of the day with food that we produce or buy from local producers. We cook together our meal but it may happen occasionally you'll manage alone meals (mainly vegetarian).
  Sharing and respect will be helpful for peace in a co-living experience here.

  Just be aware: I don't provide internet ac. just in case of emergency and in a limited amount I can share the internet from my phone - not so stable connection - you can easily buy a cheap sim card with internet. We live in a quiet, relaxed atmosphere filled with experience of experimentation, meaningful, playful but productive teamwork! The nearest villages are two and very small: Montedoro (1000 inhabitants, 1,5 km from here) and Racalmuto (8000 inhabitants 11km from here).
  I desire a fair day's help with 5h of help per day, depending on the season or tasks. Flexibility is important because of agricultural work depends on the weather conditions, but we care for a good balance in the exchange so you will have two days off that we will plan weekly. Keep in mind there's no public transportation on Sundays and limited on Saturday. I CAN'T come to pick you up at the airport and neither in Agrigento, so please check the dates before booking your flights/trains and so on.... Come to join us and enjoy nature!

Tieni presente che non ci sono trasporti pubblici la domenica e sono limitati il ​​sabato.
