Help with pet sitting and watering plants in Castelo de Vide, Portugal

  Hello, I have no vacancy for help at the moment ........
  
  I live on a 10 hectare farm just outside Castelo de Vide in Portugal with 2 very friendly dogs, 2 cats and 2 horses. The property has a stream running through it so the evenings are filled with sounds of frogs and crickets. The dogs are a 9 year old Labrador and her 5 year old Labradoodle daughter. The cats are an oriental shorthair and her son from a mysterious liaison. The farm is not a business and no produce is being sold to the public. I have 4 holiday lets which are empty when I go away so you have a choice where you can stay! I also have a swimming pool available during the warm months. I am in the Serra de Sao Mamede National Park so surrounded by nature yet very close to Castelo de Vide with shops, restaurants etc. Lots of places to visit and only 25 minutes from the Spanish border. There are a lot of things to do in the area or you can totally chill in the very peaceful Quinta.

  There are a lot of events locally, both musically, gastronomic, health and well-being etc. Although I would not be around I would connect you with the local WhatsApp group which advertises events and I have dozens of leaflets of things to do in the area.

  Arbeit

  I am looking for someone who is happy around animals, preferably also comfortable feeding the horses daily although I can get local help. I would also like some plants to be watered when necessary…. No more than an hours work daily although the animals always enjoy extra loving attention…

  There is a choice of accommodation. The Casa’s are either one bedroom or two bedroom and have well equipped kitchens, sitting rooms and bath or shower rooms with their own private patios. You would have the run of 10 hectares so very private although 8 minutes from Castelo de Vide.

  There is a lot to explore in the area and the pets can be left for a few hours so you can take advantage of this.
  As well as pet sitting while I am away visiting family I would be open to offering accommodation in return for some help with the houses/garden while I am here.
