  Hei!
  We're Elisabeth, Yurith and our dog Norah, we would like to welcome you to stay and help in beautiful Sollia, Norway!
  
  I'm a carpenter from Belgium and Elisabeth is a nurse from Estonia.
  We met in Switzerland while travelling, and eventually ended up here in beautiful Norway. We're both easygoing and calm people with a big heart for nature. We work here for the local hotel and Lodge.
  
  Here you can still find unspoiled nature and absolute calmness and tranquility, a break from everyday life. We live in an area of outstanding natural beauty with several national parks in our region. Rondane nasjonal park being the closest to us.
  
  Summer activities include hiking, fishing, biking, canoeing,... While in winter this becomes a paradise for wintersports like cross country skiing, tourskiing, snowshoe hiking, dog sledding,...
  
  !! Please be aware that we live in a very remote area and that you would need your own form of transportation to get around, especially in winter!!
  
  We live in the old school of Sollia, once converted to homes for the elderly and now used by us to live in. The house is split up in several units and could use some upgrading. So we're looking for people who would like to get their hands dirty and learn something about DIY projects. We welcome people of all skill levels!

  Life is a lot different here, time slows down when you live remotely like we do. Less distractions and more time to think about yourself or what you would like to achieve. So this is great place to calm down and get a taste of Norwegian life in nature.
  
  We both come from different cultures, Estonian and Belgian. We can teach you some language if you like. And let you taste our local cuisines. We ourselves would like to learn about you and your culture too!

  Arbeit

  We need help renovating the old school we live in. Some of the units have had some work already others need a bit more love 🙂
  The help would include the following :
  Painting
  Putting in new floors
  Renovating kitchens/small plumbing jobs
  Some carpentry tasks/ building cabinets
  ...
  
  
  We both have our day jobs so you'll mostly be doing tasks by yourself, but we will explain everything 🙂
  I'm a professional carpenter and can teach you many things about building.
  As said before, we welcome everyone, no matter what kind of experience you have!

  Unterkunft

  You will have one of the units to stay in with your own kitchen and bathroom.
  That way you can get some privacy if needed, but you're always welcome to hang out with us. We love a cosy meal together.
  
  Food will be provided for you, except for alcohol and other more expensive things.

  Was noch ...

  This is really a place for people who like the quiet and beauty of nature. To be honest there's not much else here 😅 but if you like that, you will love this area. It's amazingly beautiful and is a playground for people who like the explore the great outdoors of Norway!
