  Hello! We are a family living inbetween rethmyno and Heraklion. We are made up of Stella and Yiannos living at the top property. We make tomato sauce and sell it at the local markets. Νo business help is needed.

  We all share the same values and goals. We wish to share the beautiful unspoiled land we have and build community made with love all together.
  
  Listen to the birds and enjoy the location while building towards community together. You will be made local delicious healthy meals, we are mainly vegetarian but can accomodate.
  
  We have a caravan with warm running water, heating and A/C as of February 2023 we have started to build extra accommodation at the bottom of the hill with lots of space. There is chickens, lots of cats and vegetables being planted ready for summer.

  We are an hour long bus away from Heraklion and will collect you from the bus stop. We are competent at speaking English but could always do with some help with this!
  
  Any experience with eco farming and building is massively appreciated, we need help building raised beds, we like to use recyclable materials that we find along the way. We work hard on making this a beautiful happy spot full of love and wish for people to join and share knowledge, learn about the land and find joy in the simple things.
  
  We are more than happy to take you to the bus stop if you wish to explore, or the supermarket if you wish to get some comforts.
  Ιn adition,I would like to mention that we cannot acept abuse in alcohol or drugs.We mainly prefer men or couples because we,usually,need psysical work.Thank you

  Workawayers will learn how to live in a calm and simple way, to explore alternative building and living in a safe environment. We offer a traditional Crete approach to life and work. We like to have traditional Greek coffee and like to teach how to make local foods. We like to watch videos together about eco building and discuss plans for the future. All ideas are welcome for the benefit of the space.
  
  Come to connect with nature, dig some soil. Make willow baskets and macrame. Be creative and happy and contribute to a community knowing that you will always have a home here.

  Unterkunft

  We have a caravan setup ideal for couples or somebody on their own. This space is in-between the top and bottom of the hill and is ideal at all times of year due to the heating and also A/C In the summer. Our plan is to build a nook down the hill so that we can have many people stay at one time. As of February 2023 we have the roof on and welcome anybody to help with this.
  
  We make cheese, bread and cakes freshly made in the log burner. Stella will make you delicious meals in the evening and bring them to you, unless you want to eat all together then this is okay too! Let us know any requirements or allergies and we will work this out with you. Rest assured you will not go hungry!

  Was noch ...

  The local area is beautiful to explore.. very close are some small market shops and the beautiful messaladoni cave and reptile centre. We all plan together if you need anything from supermarket/pharmacy/butchers if you require anything extra. We are more than happy to take you to the bus stop where you can head to Heraklion/chania for the day, explore the sights, shop and get right into the Greek/Crete culture. We will collect you from the bus stop also as it is a bit of a walk!! Especially after a long day exploring
