  We are Pascal and Corinne,
  We live in a countryside house in the southwest of France, with a swimming pool, garden, and animals, 1 hour away from Bordeaux and 1 hour and 30 minutes away from Toulouse. There is a small town with 18,000 inhabitants, called Marmande, just 10 minutes from our home.
  We are new to the website and have never hosted anyone before.
  We want to learn English and share French culture and traditions.

  Nous habitons une maison à la campagne dans le sud ouest de la France, avec un piscine, jardin et des animaux, à 1h de Bordeaux et 1h30 de Toulouse. Il y a une petite ville de 18000 habitant à 10 minutes de notre domicile qui s'appelle Marmande.
  Nous sommes nouveau sur le site et n'avons encore jamais accueilli personne.
  Nous souhaitons apprendre l'anglais et partager la culture et les traditions françaises

  We are ready to teach you traditional French cuisine, such as preserving and duck dishes, using local products or those from our own garden.
  
  We can also take you on tours of various heritage sites:
  
  The castles of Henri IV (Kings of France 1572-1610) and Marguerite Duras...
  The castles and vineyards of Bordeaux
  The Landes Forest (where we enjoy mushroom picking and can teach you how to recognize and cook them)
  The Canal du Midi (a 15-minute walk away), where you can take walks or go canoeing.
  
  There are different towns and villages nearby:
  
  Marmande (10 minutes) with its supermarket, cinema, theater, etc.
  Casteljaloux (20 minutes) with its thermal center, golf course, casino, etc.
  Bordeaux (1 hour) with its 19th-century quaysides
  Toulouse (1 hour and 30 minutes), "the pink city," with 18th-century architecture in pink stone
  Various medieval villages in the Romanesque style (from the 12th to the 15th centuries).

  Nous sommes prêts à vous apprendre la cuisine traditionnelle française, ( Conserverie / Cuisine de canard/ ...) tout avec des produit locaux ou qui pousse dans notre propre potager
  
  Nous pouvons vous faire visiter les différents lieux de patrimoine :
  - Châteaux de Henri IV (rois de France 1572-1610) / Marguerite Duras ...
  - Les Châteaux et vignoble de Bordeaux
  - La foret des landes ( dans laquelle nous aimons aller ramasser des champignons , et nous pouvons vous apprendre à les reconnaitre et cuisiner
  - Le canal du midi (à 15 minutes a pied) ou il est possible de se balader a pied ou en canoé
  
  Différente ville et village aux alentour :
  - Marmande (10 minutes) avec son supermarché, cinéma, théâtre, ...
  - Castel jaloux (20 minutes) avec son centre thermal, Golf , Casino, ...
  - Bordeaux ( à 1heure) avec les quai de l'époque du XIX ème siècles
  - Toulouse (1h30) "la ville rose" avec une architecture du XVIII ème siècles, tout en pierre rose
  - différents village médiévaux du style Roman ( du XII ème au XV ème siècles)

  We are looking for assistance with various tasks:
  
  Daily household chores
  Taking care of the vegetable garden and the garden (including the pool)
  Looking after the animals
  Some DIY (do-it-yourself) projects
  
  We also want to learn English.

  There is a bus stop within a 15-minute walk that can take you into town, and there is also a train station nearby with trains passing approximately every hour. Additionally, we can provide you with bicycles for your convenience.
