I spend 3 weeks with Laura and the girls and it was a lovely experience. My main task was teaching English to the tree of them, so we mainly spoke English. Sometime I gave lessons to Ayla before an exam. But they also helped me with improving my Spanish, so it was a great exchange. It was definitely helpful that I spoke some Spanish already.

Further than that I helped with chores inside and around the house. Feeding the animals in the morning, cleaning the kitchen and cull the barn was a typical day during the week. I worked less in the morning, when the girls were home in the afternoon or we did activities together. Laura is a lovely woman who has a place in my heart. She is kind, funny, mindful and understanding. She treated me like family from the very first second, as well as everyone else in this family. She invited me to join the activities of the kids, to meet her friends or showed me around. Everything happens very spontaneous in this house, very! So be okay with living from day to day ;) Laura is a busy woman so be fine with spending some time alone or with the pets as well. :D For me it wasn't a problem. The surroundings of their village are great and there is a lot to see. Segovia, a national park, little old towns and more... In the time I've been there I couldn't even see everything. I had a great experience with Laura and her kids and definitely gonna see them again.

I was able to tour the site because I travel by motorcycle, I recommend having a vehicle.

Mi experiencia fue corta, apenas 10 días, pero súper entretenida. Gracias Laura por compartir tu familia y entorno, tomaré clases de contact donde quiera que vaya.
Pude recorrer el sitio porque viajo en moto, recomiendo tener vehículo.
El lugar tiene mucho que ver, una vista impresionante y cálida para ese café o vino al atardecer. Hay gallinas, perros y gatos, el pueblo es pequeño pero lleno de paz, buen rollo y unas vacas que dibujan la silueta de la casa todos los días.
Este Host es muy creativo y está para disfrutar. Quedó por hablar, conocer, hacer y armonizar juntos, en manada.
Buen viaje, mejor regreso, buen comienzo.
