I'm a French high school teacher and I can help you with the French language. I understand and speak English. I live in a flat but I have a private small garden. Your accommodation will be private (room/bathroom and little kitchen for yourself on the second floor). There are 4 flats in the building. Home is located in the city-center but it's very quiet. Public transport is 100 meters away from home.
I'm very fond of literature and I like to sing and listen to music. Children are grown ups and have their own life. Ideally I need some help in the house and garden. I offer accommodation and breakfast in exchange of 1 or 2 hours of work /a day but I let you prepare and cook your own meals. I will prepare mine. Friends will pop in now and then and you will be invited to share moments with us. I like company and can offer you visits of the city and walks along the river. Seaside is only one hour of train from home. I have no car and only use public transport. There is a garage for your bike or your car.

Arbeit
I need help to clean the house and maintain my small garden.
You'll be asked to do tasks around 1 or 2 hours per day.
-Basic weeding once a week.
-Summer cleaning in the house (windows, garage doors...).
You'll be responsible for the cleaning of your own room, bathroom and little kitchen.
I don't offer long term stays. Ideally, I prefer to accommodate a person for a week at first, and then decide on a longer period of time or not.
You'll be asked to provide a photocopy of your passport when I entrust you the keys of my home.

If you enjoy walking, it will be easy for you to do many things since I live in the city-center. You might enjoy the city life of Nantes with many cultural events happening here, but also walks along the river. The seaside is an hour train from home.
