Beschreibung
We are a small Golden Retriever breeding operation in Northern Germany. We are certified breeders by the Golden Retriever Club (VDH/FCI). We live with our dogs and other animals in a small village in a beautiful rural setting. There are no discos, bars, or other nightlife options here, just a beautiful landscape. We are looking for a volunteer to support us in our daily work with the dogs, horses, cats, and in our garden. When we have puppies, we would appreciate your help with raising them.
Experience with large dogs would be a great advantage, but we will teach you everything you need to know.
We have three horses (10, 24, and 28 years old). You will be responsible for feeding them, checking their water and fence daily, fetching them from the pasture, and returning them after a few hours.
I always cook a fresh lunch, and we eat together, chatting, and discussing the important things of the day. We cook a lot with vegetables, so it's no problem if you prefer a vegetarian diet.
My husband and I always have breakfast early, but you can have breakfast later, and I often have coffee with you.
For dinner, we always have cold food, as is customary in Germany – bread, butter, sausages, cheese, etc. I'm mentioning this specifically because if you're used to eating hot meals twice a day and cooking your own meals, then unfortunately it won't fit here.
The Workaway volunteer we're looking for should have a sense of responsibility and common sense. We're looking for someone who is hardworking, honest, fun, easygoing, and highly motivated!
This position is suitable for someone who loves country life, enjoys the peace and quiet of country living, and isn't afraid of dog, cat, or horse hair...

Chiara was a really beautiful volunteer . It was a pleasure that she stay with us for four weeks as a Workaway. She has always a smile on her face. Chiara is very petfriendly and great with the dogs and cats. She came as a stranger and went as a friend .We wish her all the best at all her travels .
