I was supposed to have coffee at Doris & Michael, but I stayed with them for more than a week, even doing some gardening work. They are lovely people, and I thank them for everything I have received. I spent good evenings in their company, discussing everything. Doris is in love with Italy, and we remembered the time she spent her holidays. In the
… read more house there are unforgettable souvenir photographs of some of the places she visited. She can also speak Italian, and has remained in excellent friendships with some known people. She is also an excellent cook, one evening she cooked delicious spaghetti with olives, capers and chily. With us, the two Scottish Greyhounds, Hemrys & Isa, are always present.
One day they took me to visit their small farm, where there are 2 horses and a pony. With a sunny day, I was also able, after having repaired the bicycle, and having received excellent advice from Michael for the ways to go, to reach a coast of the North Sea. A big hug, good luck and a lot of serenity!

I stayed with Doris and her family for a few months after college to learn German and relax before starting graduate school. I ended up doing all that, and I also made friends for life.
Some of the fondest memories I have are from my time with this family. The house and garden are lovely, as are the animals, the surrounding towns, landscapes,

I am very lucky to have a place to stay in Germany with such fantastic people, and I cannot wait to visit again (until then, FB messenger, Snapchat, Instagram, etc. will have to hold us over). If you have the opportunity, I wholeheartedly recommend staying with this family - I promise that you will be happy you did!

I had a great time .... Learning, sharing, cooking, smiling, drinking, working, living with this most lovable family. One week passed like a second and say goodbye to them was like to leave my own house with my own family.
The area is full of places to visit, the baltic sea, the historical cities in north Germany, and if you are willing to
… read more drive with Michael he can show you wonderful lost paradises in Danish islands (one hour driving). Doris is also a fantastic person who made me feel at home during all the time. You should also take a time to talk to the girls they are just lovely.
I just love this family.Du kannst nur Workawayer mit aktiver Mitgliedschaft kontaktieren.
