  Beschreibung

  We are a family of four: Manu, Vanni and our two daughters Nina (8 years old) and Gea (2 years old).
  We live in a little farm dipped in the green, in the countryside of Noto, a small town on the east cost of Sicily. We live in simplicity, tryng to reach the self-sufficiency. We have our own production of vegetables; Vanni is a beekeeper and a natural guide; I have a philosophy degree , I'm a shiatsu operator and an italian teacher but for now I'm primarily a mum!
  We need help especially in our everyday tasks, both in the garden, depending on the season (planting, watering, harvesting, processing food, preparing land for the orchard, pruning, making wood for the fire and the oven) and in the house (keeping clean, making bread...). We need an help especially with our littler daughter: someone who can play with her to leave me free to do others things.
  In this moment, the top for us is to host a couple who can help us in the garden and with the children.
  
  Ciao, sono Manu. La mia famiglia è composta di 4 persone: oltre me, Vanni, il mio compagno e le nostre due figlie (Nina di 8 anni e Gea di due).
  Viviamo in una piccola casa immersa nel verde, nelle campagne di Noto, una piccola città nella provincia di Siracusa, sulla costa orientale della Sicilia. Viviamo in semplicità, cercando di raggiungere l'auto sufficienza. Facciamo l'orto, abbiamo le galline, un'asina e qualche capretta. Vanni è un apicoltore e una guida naturalistica; io ho una laurea in filosofia, sono un'operatrice shiatsu e un'insegnante di italiano per stranieri, ma per il momento faccio principalmente la mamma!
  Abbiamo bisogno di una mano nelle attività quotidiane che riguardano sia il terreno che gli animali, la casa e i bambini. A seconda della stagione ci serve un aiuto per piantare, potare, preparare il terreno per l'orto, tenere pulito il terreno e decespugliare, fare la legna per la stufa e il forno. In questo momento abbiamo bisogno soprattutto di una mano con la nostra figlia più piccola, qualcuno che possa stare con lei mentre io mi dedico alle altre attività della campagna.
  L'ideale per noi in questo momento sarebbe ospitare una coppia, che possa darci una mano nello stesso tempo nel terreno e con le bimbe.

  We love to cook a good italian and sicilian food, we know and use a lot of wild plants, we know very well the history and the nature of our place. The person could learn a good italian and at the same time I would like to improve my english and my german. So we can exchange our knowledges in different fields!

  Arbeit

  We are looking for a general help with gardening, growing vegetables. We want to create and exterior shower and others little structures around the house. Sometimes we could need help with the bees.
  We are looking for someone who loves play and spend time with children.
  We appreciate people with practical skills, perfect if He/She is able to use a brushcutter!

  In their free time, workers can visit the Baroque town of Noto, Siracusa or easily reach the sea (10 km away) and explore the beautiful coast nearby. You can move by bus, by train and some times we can have some excursion together!
