  Beschreibung

  Waldfrieden is german. It means forest peace. We are a festival and party location situated near Osnabrück, Germany. Psytrance and spiritual events take place here, all year round.
  
  The Location started out as a shared house project 20 years ago. Nowadays the old rooms are offices and guest rooms and there is a small club and a pub in the ground floor. We are surrounded by a beautiful forest, and in the middle is a green slope, where we built dance floors, wooden platforms and tree houses. There are always many ideas on what needs to be done, to keep our location as beautiful as we like it or make it even better.
  
  When you enter our location you´ll be greeted by our 7 sheeps. In this area we also have a swimming pond. It´s a nice place to hang out.
  
  
  We answer messages between tuesday and friday :)

  You will definitely learn craftsmanship, maintanance skills and be in contact with open minded, alternative lot of people. In addition, you will probably also get a few inside looks on organizing parties and festivals.

  Arbeit

  We are looking for people (age 20-99) , who are willig to get their hands dirty.
  You will mostly help our caretakers maintaining our location. This can be everything, e.g. blowing dust out of the equipment in the club, plucking algue out of the pond in the summer, building a new bar, renewing part of the tree houses, cleaning equipment or take care of our sheeps, etc.
  The possibilities are almost endless. We have a minimum stay of 5 days max 3 month.
  Please note that you have to have your own health insurance.
  We would also like to say that there might be periods (like weekends i.e.) where you mostly have to take care of yourselves...you would be with other workawayers though but its good when you experienced a kind of independently beeing before :)

  Unterkunft

  You will stay in a heated caravan or in a one of our many guest rooms with shared bathrooms. During the festival you would have to sleep in a tent though.
  
  Once a week we get fruits and veggies from local farmers. Additionally to that you can get everything necessary at the next grocery store in the village. Please remember, we´ll only pay for your food, no alcohol or tabacco (this is on you).

  Was noch ...

  A little Information about our surroundings and neighborhood.
  We are part of the municipality called Stemwede and we live in the little village Wehdem. The next train stations are ca. 15 km away and the bus service could be better. So you need to be aware, that - although the cities Bielefeld and Osnabrück are only an hour away - we are a pretty small community.
  But nevertheless, with a little planning there is almost always someone who will take you to a train station, since our colleagues all live in different places all around the area.
  
  So in your free time you can go hiking, get refreshed in our small swimming pond, wind surfing at the Dümmer See (a big lake in the area), visit the cities Osnabrück and Bielefeld and of course be a guest at our parties.
