  Beschreibung

  Horseback riding company located at Rio Serrano, the south border of the National Park Torres del Paine, named as the "8th wonder of the world".
  
  Normally we offer 2 horse rides a day (2 hours each), one in the morning and one in the afternoon, in the sector of Serrano Village.
  Easy ride, gentle horses, suitable for tourist with few experience riding. Advanced horse riding skills are mandatory, please do not apply if you don't have enough experience working with horses.
  
  The tourism season in Torres del Paine is from October to April. We receive tourists from all over the world, mainly Europe and United States; therefore English speaking at a fluid level is mandatory. Other languages are desirable too.

  Workawayers will be able to experience the horses and gaucho culture of Patagonia.
  
  They can improve their Spanish in the interaction with the rest of the staff, and improve other languages in their interaction with the tourists.
  
  Also they can visit the National Park Torres del Paine on their days off.

  Arbeit

  The main tasks that the workawayer will do are:
  
  - Take care of the tourists, make sure they are having a nice and safe experience during the ride.
  - Explain the tourists how to manage properly the horses.
  - Assist the guide on the explanations and interpretation of the southern ecosystems.
  - Prepare the horses for the ride: clean, muck, saddle, reins, etc...
  - Clean the stables.
  - Bring the horses from the countryside early in the morning and taking them back there on the evenings; so they can eat and rest for the next day.
  
  On the days off we also provide food and accommodation, if you want to stay at the company facilities.

  Unterkunft

  We provide services for a Hotel located in the area, so will share accommodation with the rest of the hotel staff, in rooms of 2 to 5 people (depending on the moment of the season), private bathrooms, hot water, WIFI.
  
  Breakfast, lunch and dinner are provided each day, vegetarian option available.

  From our location is very easy to reach to the south entrance of the National Park Torres del Paine (10 minutes by car), so is a great place to base if you want to visit this part of Southern Patagonia.
  
  Please note that if you are applying as a couple, your working schedule, days off and accommodation can not be together.
  
  Advanced horse riding skills are mandatory, please do not apply if you don't have enough experience working with horses.
  
  Emotional Maturity is a MUST to have a good experience volunteering here.
  You have to be able to work under pressure, deal with many people and withstand the rigors of adverse climates.
