Hello !
My name is Moises and I am happy to invite you to our farm to enjoy nature and learn some about it in Ometepe Island, just in front of the lake.
This farm exists for a long time so we have a lot of big fruit trees (mangos, coconuts, jackfruits, breadfruits, avocados, oranges, lemons, plantain, papaya), and now we want to create a vegetable patch, a plant nursery (specially for curcuma), take care of some chickens, and eventually make organic coconut oil...
That's why we need your help :)
If you want to practice or create something , feel free to do it with us. We have a big land so we have space for everybody to have their own little garden. One part of the beach is in the farm so you can enjoy it as long as you want.
The farm is 10 minutes from the port (in Moyogalpa, from Rivas)

soy Moises y estoy feliz de invitarte a nuestra finca para disfrutar de la naturaleza y aprender un poco sobre ella en la Isla de Ometepe, justo frente al lago.
Esta finca existe desde hace mucho tiempo, por lo que tenemos muchos árboles frutales grandes (mangos, cocos, jackfruit, fruta de pan, aguacates, naranjas, limones, plátanos, papayas), y ahora queremos crear un huerto, un vivero de plantas ( especialmente para la cúrcuma), cuidar algunas gallinas y eventualmente hacer aceite de coco orgánico...
Por eso necesitamos tu ayuda :)
Si quieres practicar o crear algo, siéntete libre de hacerlo con nosotros . Tenemos un terreno grande, así que tenemos espacio para que todos tengan su propio pequeño jardín. Una parte de la playa está en la finca para que puedas disfrutarla todo el tiempo que quieras.
La finca se encuentra a 10 minutos del Puerto (en Moyogalpa, desde Rivas).

I speak Spanish and English so it's easier for us to teach you permaculture and all the farming work we have to do.
Plus if you want to practice English or Spanish, we can have good conversations around the fire at sunset time ;)
I am a tour guide so if you want to visit places in Ometepe Island, just ask and I would be glad to show you our best spots. I am specialized in climbing the Maderas and Conception volcanos so we would be able to give you all the informations to do it.

Además, si quieres practicar inglés o español, podemos tener buenas conversaciones alrededor del fuego al atardecer ;)
Soy guía de turismo por lo que si desea visitar lugares en la Isla de Ometepe, solo pregunte y con gusto le muestro nuestros mejores lugares. Me especializo en escalar los volcanes Maderas y Concepción, por lo que podría brindarte toda la información para hacerlo.

The daily schedule is as follows:
8-10am work around the house, cleaning, watering the plants, raking leaves
10am-2pm rest
2-4pm physical work depending on the current needs: clearing the farm of branches, preparing firewood, preparing the land for planting

To sleep
I offer two rooms in my house, with two full beds for four people total. One room has the shared bathroom (will need to share with everyone), and the other bed is in the kitchen space (also shared).
Commodities
A shared house with a bathroom, normal toilet, a shower, a kitchen, electricity and wifi. You will need to provide your own toilet paper, soap, and other personal hygiene items. I will provide cleaning materials for the house.
Food
You will need to provide your own food and drinking water, but you are always welcome to what is available on the farm depending on the season. Sometimes we have bananas, plantains, coconuts, turmeric, breadfruit, jackfruit, etc. With these ingredients, you can make a meal.

Hay dos camas en la casa para cuatro personas en total. Una recamara tiene el baño compartido y la otra tiene la cocina compartido.
Una casa compartida con baño, ducha, cocina, electricidad y wifi. Tienes que traer tu propia agua ,papel hijienico , javon y todo lo relacionado con su higiene personal , yo me encargo de los materiales de limpieza de la casa .
Comida
Tienes que traer tu propia comida y agua, eres bienvenido de usar todo lo que esta disponible en la finca dependiendo en la temporada. Tenemos bananas, platanos, cocos, curcuma, fruta de pan, fruta jack, y mas. Con estos ingredientes, podras preparar un tiempo de comida.

This Island is in the middle of a big lake.
You can swim in the lake, walk in Moyogalpa city, take the bus to go to Santo Domingo or Altagracia.
