  Beschreibung

  We are a small, friendly family: dad (French), mom (Italian), and our little Gioia, along with our big dog and 13 hens (a rooster will be joining us soon!).
  We enjoy a simple life close to nature: taking care of our land and going for lovely walks in the countryside and the mountains.
  We live in the heart of the Pyrénées-Atlantiques, very close to the Spanish border.
  
  On est une petite famille : papa (français), maman (italienne) et notre petite Gioia, sans oublier notre grand chien et nos 13 poules (un coq nous rejoindra bientôt !).
  On aime une vie simple, au rythme de la nature : on s’occupe de notre terrain et on profite de belles balades à la campagne, dans les montagnes.
  On habite au cœur des Pyrénées-Atlantiques, tout près de la frontière espagnole.

  Cultural and human exchange is very important to us. As a multicultural family, we offer immersion in both local and Italian culture.
  
  We enjoy sharing simple everyday moments: meals, walks, conversations…
  We can also offer:
  language exchange (French, Italian, English)
  cooking moments (we run an association dedicated to Italian cuisine 🍝)
  And of course, we are always happy to discover your culture, ideas, and perspective.
  
  For us, a Workaway experience is above all about meeting people. We are looking for someone to share, learn, and create a meaningful experience together, based on respect, simplicity, and good energy
  
  En tant que famille multiculturelle, on propose une immersion à la fois dans la culture locale et italienne.

  Arbeit

  We are looking for someone who would like to lend a hand with our land and our chickens, share meaningful moments together, and exchange skills 😊
  More specifically, we could use help with:
  taking care of the chickens (moving the coop and making sure everything works well)
  reorganising the land and setting up the different areas where we plan to have greenhouses
  
  if you enjoy it, helping us in the vegetable garden:
  creating a little outdoor space with tables to enjoy the nice summer weather
  setting up a water pipe for a few meters so we can have water on the land
  
  We will do the tasks together — for us, it’s all about sharing, learning, and enjoying the experience together.
  
  On cherche quelqu’un qui aimerait nous donner un coup de main avec notre terrain et nos poules, partager des moments ensemble et échanger des compétences 😊
  
  Plus concrètement, on aurait besoin d’aide pour :
  • s’occuper des poules (déplacer le poulailler et vérifier que tout fonctionne bien)
  • réorganiser le terrain et aménager les différents espaces où l’on prévoit des serres
  • si ça te fait plaisir, nous donner un coup de main au potager
  • créer un petit coin avec des tables pour profiter des beaux jours en été
  • installer un tuyau sur quelques mètres pour amener l’eau sur le terrain
  
  On fera les activités ensemble : pour nous, c’est avant tout un moment de partage, d’apprentissage et de convivialité.

  We offer several options:
  • Camping with your own tent on our land
  • Staying in a mobile home on our land with an outdoor dry toilet, equipped with a kitchen and a bed (for now, water is supplied via containers)
  • Staying in a small house near ours, fully equipped and located in the village; if this option is not available, we offer the possibility to stay at our home
  
  We provide all meals

  Nous proposons plusieurs possibilités :
  • Camping avec votre propre tente sur notre terrain
  • Séjour dans un mobil-home sur notre terrain avec toilettes sèches, équipé d’une cuisine et d’un lit (pour l’instant, l’eau est fournie avec des bidons)
  • Possibilité de séjourner dans une petite maison près de la nôtre, entièrement équipée et située dans le village ; si cette option n’est pas disponible, nous proposons de vous accueillir chez nous

  In your free time, if you enjoy nature, you can go hiking, explore the various villages in the valley, and also visit those in Spain (which is only 30 minutes away from here).
  
  We have an electric bike that we make available. There are also buses and shared transport options available.
  
  House rules: smoking is not allowed indoors,
  Drugs of any kind are not allowed nor is alcohol, except for one beer at the end of the day
  noise should be avoided early in the morning and after 9 p.m.

  Pendant le temps libre, si vous aimez la nature, vous pouvez faire des randonnées, découvrir les différents villages de la vallée ainsi que ceux en Espagne (qui se trouvent à seulement 30 minutes d’ici).
  
  Nous avons un vélo électrique que nous mettons à disposition. Il y a aussi des bus et des solutions de transport en commun disponibles.
  
  Règles de la maison : il est interdit de fumer à l’intérieur, les drogues de tout type ne sont pas acceptees, ni l'alcool; sauf une biere en fin journee
  et il faut éviter le bruit tôt le matin ainsi qu’après 21h.
