Clare and Marko have lived at our vineyard for more than 10 years. It was an established vineyard and we have built a winery and cellar door. We are in conversion to full organic certification. It is a 4 ha property with 2 ha of vines.
We have Warre bee hives, run a small flock of sheep, free range chickens and have dogs and cats as house pets. Our vineyard is managed using organic principles and we are converting the rest of the property using permaculture principles.
There is no public transport available but we can collect people from Orange, which has train and coach services from Sydney. Meals are shared and vegetarian options are available. Wifi and reasonable mobile reception is available.

We have a qualified permaculture instructor to teach permaculture principles and self reliance and we focus on self sufficiency in food. We bake our own sourdough bread and make fermented foods and drinks and travellers can practise these skills. We place a high value on different styles of food from many cultures and we love to share recipes.

The work consists of vineyard maintenance, nursery work, vegetable gardening, weeding and some garden construction and design.
Camping spaces are provided for tents and campervans. Tents and bedding are available if required. Meals are provided in the home.
The property borders the Mount Canobolas State Conservation Area which has beautiful walks at all difficulty levels. Orange is popular tourist destination with activities ranging from mountain bike riding and swimming in Lake Canobolas, to winery tours and fine dining. We enjoy live music, bush walking and visiting local attractions. There is public transport available but we can help with transport.
