  Hello everyone!
  I am Thomas (59), living in Corte Brique in Santa Clara-A-Velha in Alentejo in the South-West of Portugal.
  
  I moved to Portugal 20 years ago together with my family. I have been working as a carpenter together with my son and we run our own business in this beautiful area.
  If you are interested in working with wood we are more than welcome to share some knowledge.
  
  We live on a beautiful 1 hectare land in Corte Brique which has all facilities needed to life a fulfilling life. My son (30) is currently living with me but might be moving out but will be here more often as well. We have a cute cat which is living with us. As well, I have friends visiting more often as well have my children and their friends staying with me.
  
  I love to work with wood and everything connected with nature. I build my own little paradise together with my family. We have all sorts of plants, trees and our own little lakes on our land. I am interested in supporting the economic environment as much as I can. We only use biological products on our land.
  
  I have a campervan next to the house or a room available for the people that would like to stay with us. The room has the own entrance and is connected to the main house. I have a strong wifi connection which can be used. The compost toilette and shower, as well as bath tube is outside close by.
  
  What we focus on and we are planning to do together also with the volunteer is to grow the ecosystem on our land, rebuilding a habitat for plants and everything which comes with it.
  
  We have several projects we would like to continue on our land.
  
  I speak Germen, Portuguese and Basic knowledge English.

  Unterkunft

  There is a caravan, a room with a second sleeping level, so enough space to have some privacy. With a separate entrance.
  
  We have an outside shower and bath tube and compost toilet. We prefer to only use ecological shampoos etc :)

  The next beach, as well as surf beach is approx.. 40 minutes by car, Santa Clara-A-Velha within 5minutes.
  The Santa Clara-A-Velha lake, which is the second biggest lake of Portugal is within a 10 minute drive, reachable.
