It is an honor to introduce myself as the guardian of the sanctuary & Natural Reserve. We are a 20 acre Sanctuary & Natural Reserve located in the sacred lands of the Sierra Nevada mountains in northern Colombia, a territory known as the ‘Heart of the World’.

Our land stands at 850 feet above Sea Level, 35-40 minutes from the town of Minca in a motorcycle, or 2.5-3 hours walking. Minca is located 30 minutes upcountry from Santa Marta.

Due to the shifts the world experienced in recent times, we have been given a wake up call to return to the sacred land. A remembrance to steward Mother Earth and establish reliable and self sustainable systems for the generations to come.

As the world awakens, I have recognized the importance to begin my sacred work towards food sovereignty, towards sustainable and regenerative systems; returning to the land, co-creating in community

Together we weave the mandal, a web of light and high vibrational communities with one main purpose of raising our vibration and healing in the deepest forms, so that we can serve from the highest versions of ourselves in these times when the World needs us the most, though more importantly, we need to hold ourselves accountable.

At , the daily activities will be mostly working with edible and medicinal plants, fruit trees, gardening; as we continue to plant a fruit forest with exotic fruits from all over the world, and gardens that can supply all the food that we need.

The project only began less than two years ago, so the only structure so far on the land is a greenhouse, so building with natural materials found around the farm will also be part of the journey.

Join us as we weave and co-create together

    Kultureller Austausch und Lernmöglichkeiten

At the place you will learn through experience, connecting with other like-minded souls and working hands-on.

Personally, eye will share with workawayers as I can, what I have learned, from gardening, to spiritual practices, to music and building instruments.. and more. This will happen through the natural flow of life as every day will bring something new and let’s remember we are all teachers and students. So I am indeed excited to continue learning from every experience and person that weaves with us

However, there’s another aspect to this mountain that is perhaps the most powerful. This is the ‘elder brothers’ territory. Indigenous tribes that have been around for centuries or even thousands of years; allegedly descendants of the Tayronas, live on this mountain from the bottom to the high peaks of the Sierra, calling themselves the guardians of the Heart of the World. We invite you to watch ‘Elder brothers warning’ or ‘Aluna’ on YouTube and familiarize yourself with the local indigenous culture and energy.

At the project we work closely with other places from the upper Sierra and every so often their presence on the land is required to perform certain rituals for the land. This is necessary to maintain the balance.

Every traveler that arrives to the Sierra must be aware of the powerful energy that surrounds the whole Sierra. All the indigenous tribes around the world agree upon the fact that this is the Heart of Mother Earth. There is a beautiful opportunity to connect with the ancient ancestral wisdom that these lineages carry and hold sacred. Some say this is the most spiritual place in the world. Hard to say, though the mountain is indeed a three sided natural pyramid if you see it from above. This place is very much alive.

4 hours of help daily and the rest of the day is yours… only 4 days a week. The other days can be spent exploring the mountain or the beautiful coast.

This year’s big plan is to build several temples; for housing, structures with locally harvested natural materials.

Help in the garden and planting a fruit forest. We have dozens of fruit trees waiting to be planted on the ground including Cacao, lots of citrus, Jackfruit, Coconuts, Star Apple, Jabuticaba, Ice cream bean, Coffee, Breadfruit, Lychee, Rambutan, Durian, Bilimbi, Miracle Fruit, Macadamia, Mountain Apple, Rollinia Deliciosa, Moringa, Pomegranate and tons of other species.

We have a Papaya and Banana grove that needs to be expanded as we plant more Papayas and AppleBananans/Plantains.

Assistance in the Greenhouse and plant nursery, as I mentioned we have species from all over the world and work with a lot of seeds constantly.

We plan to build a wood burning Sauna or even better a temazcal dome with clay and mud and locally harvested natural materials. We have plenty of bamboo, lots of clay and mud, natural rope and other great sources of woodgrass and other prime materials around the land.

Building an outdoor kitchen is a priority.

Other projects will rise as we breathe and enjoy the beauty of the mountain…

I am excited for what each person brings to the table and all the gifts we can share!

We are a Sancturay and there will be lots of time for meditation and connecting with one-self, doing yoga, reading, just Being, silence, etc…

My English is fluent since I attended an American high-school growing up and then attended college in the US. Spanish is my native language as I was born and raised in Colombia. Learning other languages and connecting with foreigners from different cultures nurtures my Soul. Sharing and learning different experiences and perspectives through language is very fun and dynamic, and often teaches us so much about ourselves. We welcome all people from all countries and hope to share a bit of the Heart of the World. Speaking English or Spanish would definitely be a better fit. Though we are open to experience something new as well. As in someone who speaks very little, that would be okay.

  • Unterkunft

    Unterkunft

There is a brand new yurt to accommodate 1 volunteer and a Tent to accommodate 1 volunteer. The tent is provided by us.

We provide the food that we harvest from the land. So far we have Papayas, Bananas, eggs from our chickens, Cassava, Taro, Sugar Cane, these foods we can provide.

However it is important for volunteers to have something for themselves besides these which we offer because some days the bananas will be ripening and others will be in abundance so we play it day by day.

We cannot offer a broad menu of food at the moment so we encourage volunteers to bring their own personal stash for themselves or to share. These may include rice, beans, bread, and things of this nature. We do not have electricity.

I lived in Hawaii at the most amazing community. This project / vision is very much inspired by my experience on the island of Maui, Hawaii. In Hawaii ‘Aloha’ is everything. Aloha, translates to ‘the breath of Life’. As we share the same breath; we are all brothers and sisters, one big family, we are all equal.

But Aloha transcends that meaning, it is ‘Being and Living in connection with all things and all beings’. I have learned that through such practice and awareness, everything becomes possible. Thus we must return to the Āina ‘land’ and relearn everything we have forgotten. Remember our ‘Kuleana’ (responsibility in life), to be Stewards of our communities and our Sacred Earth. Returning home, back to ourselves and doing the deep work is the path of the warrios of light.

    Here’s a few things I am passionate about;

    Gardening
    Yoga / Meditation
Detox and purification of the body, mind
    Sacred Geometry
    Music (432Htz)
    Solfeggio frequencies
    Healing through different self practices
    Electroculture
    Alchemy of plant medicine
    Working with sacred plants
    Building Native American flutes
    Building and working with wood
    Playing various instruments
    Music/cacao/dance/fire circles
    Ayurveda
    Cooking
    Breathwork
    Mantras and yogic living
    Being of service
    Inspiring others
    Cultivating deep compassion
    Cultivating silence
Living in Harmony and Peace with all living and non living things
Celebrating life and living in ceremony
and.. did I mention planting more and more fruit trees?!?! ;)
