  An Australian owned and operated lodge, bar and restaurant on the slopes of Madarao in Japan. Live and work a stones throw away from the lifts of this beautiful resort in the Japanese alps. All while meeting new friends that could last a lifetime. The lodge is a nine room Japanese timber style 250m from the lifts. It is very relaxed and homey. I am a 37 year old Australian that loves to travel the world and experience the culture in every country i go to. There will be a team of about 7 people working between the businesses with plenty of time to explore and experience what Japan has to offer.

  Living and working in the Japanese alps gives you access to many cultural sites in the surrounding countryside. Including traditional onsens, temples, Japanese food and culture and snow monkeys. Not to mention the world famous Japow (Japan Powder) covered mountains at your doorstep.

  Arbeit

  An Australian owned and operated lodge on the slopes of Madarao in Japan. The lodge is reopening this year after a hiatus during covid. The lodge has 28 beds and we also have a bar and restaurant. We need help in each of them and the positions will be general help. The work will include reception, cleaning, changing beds, clearing snow, serving breakfast/dinner and drinks depending on your shift for that day.

  You will be staying in shared accommodation with the other workers in the lodge, which is located on the snow. Breakfast is also included and if you come for three months you also get an included ski pass. Discounted drinks will also be available and free access to all events. Wages will also be offered.

  We are minutes walk from the resorts lifts and you can ski/snowboard. Our pub/restaurant also hosts events multiple times a week where you will have access to staff price drinks and food. You must have an eligible visa to apply.
