  After spending several years in the heart of Milan, three years ago my wife and I decided to change our lives and move to Puglia. We enjoy living close to nature, near the sea, in a very relaxing environment while continuing to work. In fact, I have continued to work, while my wife, who previously worked in the fashion industry, has now created a small women's clothing line in her spare time.
  
  We have six wonderful cats living with us in our home, and we are looking for someone to care for them, since we live in another house 10 minutes away. We also travel frequently, and our two beautiful dogs sometimes join the cats.
  
  My passion is wine, and I enjoy searching for the finest wines around the world, while my wife pursues her interest in design.

  The location is truly advantageous: Lecce, a marvelous baroque city of southern Italy, is just thirty minutes away.
  
  The simple and comfortable home expresses the true essence of Salento: spacious and bright rooms, characteristic architectural elements, and a large garden where you can relax, read, or enjoy dinner under the open sky.   Dopo aver trascorso diversi anni nel cuore di Milano, tre anni fa io e mia moglie abbiamo deciso di cambiare vita, trasferendoci in Puglia. Ci piace vivere a contatto con la natura, vicino al mare, in un ambiente molto rilassante sebbene continuando a lavorarea. Infatti io ho mantenuto la mia attività lavorativa, mentre mia moglie, che ha lavorato nel settore della moda, ora ha creato una piccola linea di abbigliamento femminile nei momenti liberi.
  
  Nella nostra abitazione vivono con noi sei meravigliosi gatti e cerchiamo qualcuno che potrà occuparsi di loro dal momento che noi viviamo in un'atra cvasa a 10 minuti di distanza. Inoltre viaggiamo spesso e a volte ai gatti si aggiungono i nostri due bellissimi cani.
  
  La mia passione è il vino e mi piace andare alla ricerca delle migliori produzioni in giro per il mondo, mentre mia moglie porta avanti il suo interesse per il design.

  la casa, realizzata secondoin stile agricolo salentino, si trova circondato da alberi d'ulivo centenari e piante da frutto durante tutto l'anno. In questo luogo la tranquillità della campagna si fonde con l'aria di mare, dando vita a un contesto perfetto per chi cerca pace e vuole staccare dalla vita frenetica urbana.
  
  In pochissimo tempo potrete raggiungere alcune tra le più incantevoli spiagge e scogliere salentine, caratterizzate da mare limpidissimo, piccole baie e ampie spiagge dalla sabbia bellissime anche d'inverno, anzia, ancora più belle perchè libere dal turismo. Oltre ai Laghi Alimini, autentiche perle naturali, avrete modo di visitare i paesi tipici della zona, densi di storia, usanze e sapori tradizionali.
  
  La posizione è davvero vantaggiosa: Lecce, meravigliosa città barocca del Meridione, si trova a soli trenta minuti.

  La nostra casa di campagna si trova a pochi minuti da Otranto, una delle perle del sud Italia, affacciata sul mare Adriatico. È un luogo immerso nella natura, silenzioso e rilassante, ma allo stesso tempo vicino al centro abitato e alle spiagge più belle della zona.
  
  Eventi locali e vita di comunità
  Durante il vostro soggiorno potrete partecipare alle tante sagre e feste tradizionali che animano Otranto e i paesi vicini, soprattutto nei mesi estivi e autunnali. Musica dal vivo, danze popolari come la pizzica, mercatini artigianali, prodotti locali e buon cibo vi faranno sentire parte della comunità.
  
  Potrete anche scoprire piccoli borghi dell’entroterra, andare in bici tra i campi o camminare lungo la costa. Le persone del posto sono accoglienti e genuine: è facile fare amicizia, anche solo prendendo un caffè in piazza o chiacchierando con i vicini.

  We're looking for nature and animal lovers.
  We're looking for a reliable and responsible individual (or couple) to care for our country house, our dogs (sometimes), and our 6 cats (always). We also take care of small daily tasks related to the house and garden. A gardener is available for more demanding tasks, so these will only involve simple daily tasks.

  This country house is located in the quiet Salento countryside, just minutes from Otranto and the Alimini Lakes. Surrounded by olive and fruit trees, it is the ideal place for those seeking tranquility, nature, and authenticity. The house is in Salento's farmhouse style, simple yet welcoming, with two bedrooms, a living room, a small sitting room, a large garden, and a small pool. Salento's most beautiful beaches and villages steeped in history and tradition are just minutes away. Lecce is just a half-hour drive away. The interior spaces are bright and well-maintained, perfect for families, couples, or friends. You can relax reading in the shade, dine al fresco, or take a dip in the pool. The atmosphere is authentic, warm, and rejuvenating. A perfect base for exploring Salento and experiencing its culture.
  
  We will offer free stay in exchange of pet sitting plus a compensation
  
  We will provide 3 meals a day in exchange for up to 25 hours a week of help (with 2 full days off). As we mainly live in another house or travel, we will provide a stipend for Workawayers to cook for themselves.

Circondata da ulivi e alberi da frutto, è il luogo ideale per chi cerca tranquillità, natura e autenticità. La casa è in stile colonico salentino, semplice ma accogliente, con due camere da letto, salotto, salottino, un ampio giardino e una piccola piscina. In pochi minuti si raggiungono le spiagge più belle del Salento e i borghi ricchi di storia e tradizione. Lecce è a solo mezz’ora di macchina. Gli spazi interni sono luminosi e ben curati, perfetti per famiglie, coppie o amici. Potrete rilassarvi leggendo all’ombra, cenare all’aperto o fare un tuffo in piscina. L’atmosfera è autentica, calda e rigenerante. Una base perfetta per esplorare il Salento e vivere la sua cultura.

  During your stay in our country house, you'll have all the space and tranquility to work remotely if you need it. The connection is stable and the rooms are quiet, perfect for concentrating.
  In your free time, you can explore the wonders of Salento and Puglia: the sea, historic villages, local events, and pristine nature await you.
  
  We give preference to those with a car, as the area is best served by private transportation, but if necessary, we can provide a scooter and, in some cases, even a car.
  
  The house is heated primarily with wood stoves and fireplaces, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. In case of intense cold, a traditional heating system is also available.
  
  Electricity comes from solar panels: we live sustainably and consciously, striving to respect the environment and the simplicity of country life.

  Durante il vostro soggiorno nella nostra casa di campagna, avrete tutto lo spazio e la tranquillità per lavorare in smart working, se ne avete bisogno. La connessione è stabile e gli ambienti sono silenziosi, perfetti per concentrarsi.
  Nel tempo libero potrete esplorare le meraviglie del Salento e della Puglia: mare, borghi storici, eventi locali e natura incontaminata vi aspettano.
  
  Diamo preferenza a chi è automunito, poiché la zona è servita meglio con un mezzo proprio, ma in caso di necessità possiamo mettere a disposizione un motorino e, in parte, anche un'auto.
  
  La casa è riscaldata principalmente con stufe a legna e camini, che creano un’atmosfera calda e accogliente. In caso di freddo intenso è disponibile anche un sistema di riscaldamento tradizionale.
  
  L’energia elettrica proviene da pannelli solari: viviamo in modo sostenibile e consapevole, cercando di rispettare l’ambiente e la semplicità della vita in campagna.
