Look after our dogs and stay at our beautiful home in Oxapampa, Peru

  Beschreibung

  We are organic farmers from Canada. We have relocated with our two dogs from British Columbia, Canada and at present we rent a lovely house within walking distance of the Plaza de Armas in Oxapampa, Peru. We are looking for a peice of land so we can get busy farming again, thats why we moved here, great water, unbelievable wilderness and nice people. Oxapampa is a wonderful place, clean, safe and near many beautiful sites. We are musicians and are involved in the local music scene. We love to cook and are exploring the local quisine. We are both long time vegetarians, we like to workout at our local gym, go for coffee and generally expeirence life in Peru. Folks would be welcome to stay a week before Aug 1 and a week after Aug 30. Once we find a peice of land to farm our workaway stays would change somewhat.

  Folks can expierience living in a really nice, non typical Peruvian town. Meet some cool people.

  Arbeit

  We intend to travel back to Canada to retreive our belongings that have been in storage for over a year. We need a super reliable person or couple to look after our two dogs Dama and Fiona. A person has to keep them safe, happy and fed until we return. We have a nice modern house to stay at, hot water, fairly quiet, close to the nationial park, walking distance to the Plaza, 5 sole Moto taxi ride to the incredible Saturday market. You will have to supply your own food while you are here. We can supply contacts in town for our friends so you would have some support when it comes to finding things.

  This area of the Pasco region is know for its incredible wilderness, many bird speices (over 150) , the best selection of coffees anywhere, and the famous Saturday Traditional Market. Its a 11 hour bus ride from Lima through some incredible scenery if you take the day bus. Oxapampa is a interesting place with its quite obvious German Heritage, cowboy culture, wide clean streets.
