  UPDATE: AUGUST 15- SEPTEMBER 8, PETCARE (big dog), CENTER OF MILAN
  WE ARE SEARCHING NOW FROM AUGUST 15 to SEPTEMBER 8, to spend ten days on the mountains (15-25 August) and then TAKE CARE OF OUR LOVELY BIG DOG IN OUR HOUSE IN MILAN, WHILE WE ARE AWAY in Greece (25 August-8 September).
  
  ONLY GIRLS (because little Nina is happy with big sisters :-))

  We are a very lively family who already had many many wonderful workawayers! (we are still in contact with them and we can provide their numbers for reference :-))
  
  We live right in the center of Milan and we are looking for some help with our daughter Nina, who is eleven.
  
  Right now (SUMMER 2025), we need some to TAKE CARE OF OUR DOG IRIS, when we are away in holidays FROM AUGUST 25 to SEPTEMBER 8. If you could come one week earlier, that would be perfect, so that you can come to the mountains with us and we can get knowing you. If you want to stay longer in September, this is the schedule:
  
  
  From September 8th, 2025:
  Time schedule:
  We would like you to live at our house, talk with us in English, and help with the kids during the afternoon, from 16.00 to 19.00.
  
  We are interested in practicing English and if possible also German during family life!
  
  Now the presentations:
  
  In the photo you can see the whole family: Alice (mamma), Giampaolo (father), Giulio (12), Diego (15) and little Nina (9)... and Iris (dog)!
  
  Giampaolo and me are both researchers, in philosophy (me) and maths (Giamp), and I'm also a yoga teacher. We love trekking (nearly every weekend, in the mountains near Lecco). Diego Giulio and Nina love... fighting together! but also many other things like reading (Diego), playing music (Giulio), jumping everywhere (Nina), watching Star Wars (all three)....
  
  In Milano we live in a beautiful old house, right in the center of the town, with a big garden and an old cloister (you can see a photo on the profile). We have a private room, quite big, and garden access to offer.
  
  We had already five wonderful workawayers (we can give you her email for references!) and it was a great experience.

  Kultureller Austausch und Lernmöglichkeiten

  In Milano we live in a beautiful old house, right in the center of the town, with a big garden and an old cloister of Fifteenth Century (you can see a photo on the profile). Museums and old antique buildings are all around and at foot distance.
  Giampaolo is a professor of math and I teach philosophy, we would be glad to share our research. The other great passion of the house is music: Giampaolo and Giulio play piano and Nina plays violin. We would be glad to share this too.
  More in general, we love to know more about the visitors' countries and to tell about ours as well. We already had three au pairs and we had a great exchange with them.
  
  There are very good opportunities to travel and see Firenze, Siena, Pisa... Nature is also beautiful and there are very nice hikings.

  Unterkunft

  Beautiful house in the center of Milan.
  
  Usually I (mommy Alice) am the one who cooks. I am vegetarian, so I usually cook a lot of vegetables with pasta, rice or potatoes, and eggs and cheese. But I don't mind if the worker buys her own meat and cooks it. Moreover, we would be very happy to know new foods and recipes from her land!

  From September on:
  We would like to find someone who is really interested in playing with kids, especially for our little Nina, and who is able to connect emotionally with them.
  The environment is awesome and of course you can go out whenever you want in your free time. Transports are all around (we live 10 min from Cadorna station and 15 min to the Duomo).
