  Beschreibung

  We are a family of 6 with 4 little children living on a family acreage. This farm has been in our family for over 100 years. We are not grain farmers anymore but we have 40 acres that we enjoy and care for. My husband and I own a Technology company in the city near by. I(christina) am home most days with the kids, but head into town for work a few days a week. We like to keep the kids home in the farm so they can enjoy it just as much as us. This is a Canada Manitoba Prairie farm and community. Every night is a pink sunset and there’s a river a mile down the road.
  
  We have a large vegetable garden, 3 acres of yard, and a pool.
  
  We have a large house with 6 bedrooms and lots of space.
  
  We live 15 minutes away from a small prairie town with a river running through it and 30 minutes from a small city.
  
  Our acreage has space for workaways to stay with us and find their own little private space on the property to park a van, trailer or otherwise.

  The prairies are beautiful, peaceful and kind. The summers here are full of green grass, fresh garden vegetables and endless valleys to explore. If you like babbling rivers to fish, canoe or swim this is your place. Everywhere you looks is a postcard and wildflowers are always growing on the side of the road.
  
  If you enjoy gardening and yard work to see the end result you will enjoy here. Not to mention there will probably always be a toddler wondering around. We live here because we wake up to the smell of lilacs in the morning, and end the day with swims hikes and fires under the stars.

  Arbeit

  We are looking for help with everything outside of the house. Mowing grass, gardening, tree care, exterior house work, projects around the yard like fixing our fence and redoing some patio stones or a deck rebuild.
  
  We are also looking for a separate individual to live inside the house and help with all household chores and a little with the children but mainly household chores. Cleaning, cooking the basics.

  Unterkunft

  For outside workaways helping for yard care, If you have a camper you can park it here. You can also tent if you like. We are mainly vegan so we are happy to feed you if you are satisfied with that or we would provide a food allowance for you.
  
  For inside workaways helping with house hold chores, we have a large bedroom on the main floor away from the rest of the bedrooms which would be yours. Two bathrooms in the house to share.

  Was noch ...

  There’s a few hundred lakes in this province and one an hour in any direction. Summers here are spent on boats, patios, In gardens and pools. One of us heads to town every second day or so and your welcome to use that ride.

  Our yard is 40 acres and there are endless cozy spots under trees you can park. You can bring any size of camper here. Electric to plug into, water and a sewage dump in town for campers.
