Beschreibung
We are a married couple, whose children no longer live at home, living on a lifestyle property where we farm cattle for their meat. Our property is a 20 minute drive from Whangarei City in a rural location with no public transport.
The meat produced on our property is for our own consumption.
Workaways would be assisting with chores associated with our homestead and the primary purpose of our registration is to offer accommodation and meet people along with getting a few jobs done.
We can offer a large double bedroom with its own bathroom and all meals in exchange for general farming work, gardening, housekeeping, small DIY projects etc. -

We have travelled extensively through UK, Europe and Australia. We enjoy meeting people and sharing experiences. We can teach farming practices and relay rural life in NZ. Our Son lives on the property with his wife, and 3 children so there may be some interaction with children.

Whangarei City is a 20-minute drive and has vibrant shopping, cafes & restaurants and various visitor attractions.
Our property is about a 45-minute drive to Paihia and the Bay Of Islands.
Northland Kauri forests can also be visited as a day trip.
Northland is noted for its temperate climate and abundance of beaches.
There is no public transport available locally. -
