We are a couple sometimes with adult offspring sometimes at home.
We live in a gorgeous place and offer great accommodation and food. We have been luck to attract some exceptional helpers.We get a lot more requests than we can accommodate. If you are making contact to see if we have availability for you, please let me know what type of work suits you best, how long you would like to stay for, whether you have your own transport and what makes you exceptional helpers.
Maximum stay is 4 days.

Our primary reason for hosting is to provide cultural exchange and learning opportunities. We have hosted many helpers from all corners of the globe and enjoy swapping stories and sharing culture. As you will see from our reviews we do everything to make our workawayers feel at home. We hearing about our helpers' lives, customs and cultures.
Arbeit
In general: We could do with some help with garden. We sometimes have a DIY project or two underway which could be helped along if you have DIY/joinery skills . If you are fit and strong we can provide outdoor tasks that will keep you that way :-) Right now we need some help clearing and weeding the garden and tidying out a shed.

Unterkunft
Fancy waking up to a fabulous sea view? We live in a beautiful spot, 10 mins drive from Akaroa, close to Duvauchelle and can offer lovely accommodation separate to our house to one or two people willing to lend a hand with general spring clean/ gardening duties. We seek 4.5 hours (hard) work every day in exchange for accommodation and (good!) food. We can pick up from the Akaroa Shuttle. You are welcome to use our swimming pool (in summer) and enjoy all that Banks Peininsula has to offer.

We are more interested in having people for a few days to a week stay rather than long term. We live in a gorgeous place and offer great accommodation and food. We have been lucky to attract some exceptional helpers. We get a lot more requests than we can accommodate.
