  We are a couple born and raised in Mexico City, so we are quite useful to guide you in discovering the city, its culture, and its magic. We deeply enjoy traveling personally and through the travelers, we meet. We enjoy meeting people and making good friends.
  
  Ana loves chit-chat. She enjoys traveling, general culture, gardening, science, flowers, and animals. She likes to try new things and learn from other cultures, she is adventurous and curious. Currently, she dreams to have a farm or a countryside place , so everything related to it will keep her attention.
  
  Mario likes to cook; he enjoys grilling. He likes architecture, construction, art, movies, music, general culture, design, politics, and fútbol or other sports.
  
  We both love animals, food, nature, and movies.
  
  Some things about us: We are entertaining, non-judgmental, somehow open-minded, somewhat crazy, friendly, curious, and caring. Mario is a good listener and a great cook. Ana is good at sharing stories and she likes debates, she always has an opinion and interest in yours. We enjoy wine, new food, plants, and series.
  
  We are both biotech engineers working in scientific sales. We work from home most of the time, so we will be busy during the day but we will do our best to share a time when possible. We enjoy meeting people and discovering different cultures and points of view..
  
  We have 14 pets, most of them bold and demanding, be ready for tons of purring stuff and cuddling, if you do not enjoy being with animal this is not a place for you.
  
  We notice that some WA's wants to practice their Spanish language. Although we are Spanish speakers we take the opportunity to practice our English with native English speakers . So, our household is not ideal for Spanish language teaching, but if English isn't your first language, we'll figure out what to do. We are always happy to help.
  
  Our house is located in the southwest of the city, it is close to Santa Fe / San Angel neighborhoods in a very safe and pleasant residential area to walk. Keep in mind that the distance to downtown and most of the tourist places using public transportation is sometimes 1.5 -2 hours. Public transportation is slow and busy. If you are interested on our place we recommend you to use Uber to the nearest metro station which is not walking distance or near by. The house is beside a park, so you will enjoy the city and nature.

  We like to meet people and share time when we can, stories, ideologies, and knowledge. We are always interested in different cultures and points of view. We embrace Mexican culture; here you will see Mexico through Mexican eyes.
  
  We can help you to get acquainted with Mexican history, geography, culture, futbol, and cuisine. We enjoy meaningful conversations
  
  We enjoy to immerse our guest to our daily life so if we have some activity you will be very welcome to join us.

  Arbeit

  -We have a green area that we are always working on improving: watering, trimming, seeding, fertilizing, and cleaning are always needed.
  
  -Regularly we need help with general maintenance: painting, basic carpentry, and fixing, we prefer people that is not afraid to get their hands dirty.
  
  - Cleaning: Sometimes we need help to clean different areas at the house.
  
  - Cooking: Along the weekends, we always need help with prep (chopping and, washing veggies for the week) also cooking for all is a needed task.
  
  - English certified teachers to help us to improve our vocabulary and pronunciation will be appreciated. We are fluent, but we always have some improvements to make.
  
  - We have an interest in welding, yoga, painting aquarelle, drawing, crochet, musical instruments, singing, carpentry, body weight, meditation, and farming. We will be very happy to learn if you know any of it.
  
  - We are relaxed people; if we don't have a specific project, you won't have a strict working schedule, however, we hope you are available when we need general help and we expect you accomplish the requested tasks. We are not interested in people who wants a free stay and meals. If you are a big eater you must buy extra groceries for yourself.
  
  -We have 5 rescued dogs and 7 rescued cats; we might ask you to give a bath to the dogs and maybe a walk, it is not a required task. You must like to be surrounded by animals otherwise please don’t request a stay, we are not interested in people that “can handle them” They live/use all the spaces at the house and they are very effusive and spoiled, we treat them as family an nobody is over them. We will not tolerate any kind of mistreatment.

  We are looking for WAs with a maximum stay of a week, sometime we can extend to 2 weeks depending on our job agenda or the project we need help with , please don’t make a request for longer. We are not partygoers, we work a lot, we cannot wait for you or look for you if you decide to party far away.
  
  We always keep the house clean, so, you must clean the areas and the tools you use . It is mandatory that you leave the room in the same way you found it.
  
  We want people who want to visit around rather than being all day long at home, we don’t accept people who do remote work, we don’t provide extra keys if we leave the house you have to plan your day out.
  
  We like people interested in cultural exchange, we are not a hostel and we don't like to be treated as such.
  
  If you have specific dietary needs, you must purchase your food or ingredients to cook yourself. We are not interested in travelers who plan not to spend on their basic needs or who want everything free for the required tasks, if you have this goal this is not a place for you.
  
  Once again, be aware that we live far from the city center, it will take a long time to go to and from downtown (about 4 hours round trip). Please keep this in mind before making a request. It is very unpleasant to receive complaints and people surprised by something that we notify to take into account.

  We offer you a small private room with a futon that fits two people with its bathroom and shower, complete privacy.
  Access to the internet.
  You can use most of the areas at home; we only ask you to be respectful and follow the simple rules of any home. Unfortunately due to bad experiences, we have to emphasize: "leave the room the way you receive it, do not waste food, water or electricity, a shower a day is enough, the food at home is not only for you, do not use our stuff without asking, clean always if you do a mess and always respect our pets".
  Regarding meals, we offer you with a light breakfast (coffee, fruits, oatmeal, toast) and lunch or dinner, not both.
  At home we always have the basics to cook (oatmeal, rice, pasta, beans, oil, vinegar, spices, vegetables, tortillas, sugar, flour, yogurt) but if you are a very good eater and you like delicatessen or very specific things, you should buy them for yourself, we have a supermarket very close to home.
  Skipping the meal to have a double dinner or very exaggerated portions is very inconsiderate and rude, if you don’t want to spend in your feeding at all, please look for another place.
