Help a family with painting their house in Midi Pyrenees, France

We are a French family living in the Gers. My wife and I have two children - Pablo, Circacien and Lisa. I am a professional musician and sound engineer and have been working in the music industry for 25 years now. Nine years ago, we renovated a partially built church into a house. The foundations and structure of the church were built at the beginning of the 20th century with the stone of a ruined 14th century castle located nearby. It has never been consecrated. Geographically, we are 9 km from Marciac and 150 km from Toulouse, which means that we are in the heart of the Gers countryside. . My work schedule can be very busy. In the lulls, I like working in the garden and renovating parts of the house.

Nous sommes une famille française vivant dans le Gers. Ma femme et moi avons deux grand enfants - Pablo, circacien et Lisa infirmière. Je suis musicien professionnel et ingénieur du son et travaille dans l'industrie de la musique depuis 30 ans maintenant. Il y a 19 ans, nous avons rénové une église partiellement construite pour en faire une maison. Les fondations et la structure de l'église ont été construites au tout début du 20ème siècle avec la pierre d'un château en ruine du 14ème siècle situé à proximité. elle n'a jamais été consacré. Géographiquement, nous sommes à 9 km de Marciac et à 150 km de Toulouse et le l'océan et proche des Pyrénées, ce qui signifie que nous sommes au cœur de la campagne du Gers. J'aime travailler dans le jardin et rénover des parties de La maison.

Arbeit
We offer all the food and board for the Workaway exchange and are very relaxed with regard to the hours of work. We will not ask foreign workers for a strict work schedule, but we can certainly discuss a kind of routine. Four hours a day with perhaps a help to prepare a meal or two would be enough. We would like help with general garden maintenance, painting some parts of the house, cleaning and cooking. If I work nearby with a show, I can also ask for help with the installation.

Nous offrons toute la nourriture et la pension pour l'échange Workaway et sommes très détendus en ce qui concerne les heures de travail. Nous ne demanderons pas un horaire de travail strict aux travailleurs étrangers mais nous pouvons certainement discuter d'une sorte de routine. Quatre heures par jour grand max avec peut-être une aide pour préparer un repas ou deux serait amplement suffisant. Nous aimerions avoir de l'aide pour l'entretien général du jardin, la peinture de certaines parties de l'intérieur de la maison, le nettoyage et la cuisine.

Unterkunft
Fully furnished bedroom with double bed in the house. Workawayers would be sharing the family bathroom.

Chambre entièrement meublée avec lit double dans la maison. Les vacanciers partageraient la salle de bains familiale.

We are not vegetarian and do not have experience with cooking vegetarian food. But If you are ok with being around cooking/cooked meat and are confident in preparing your own food, we will happily accommodate you with buying the necessary supplies you need.

You would have Unlimited WIFI, full use of the washing machine and use of books, dvd's etc...

My wife smokes though the house is very large (100m2) with good ventilation. In the summer we have the windows and sliding doors open throughout the day.

Nous ne sommes pas végétariens et n'avons pas d'expérience dans la préparation de plats végétariens. Mais si vous êtes en mesure de cuisiner / de la viande cuite et que vous êtes en mesure de préparer votre propre nourriture, nous nous ferons un plaisir de vous aider à acheter les fournitures dont vous avez besoin.

Vous auriez un accès WIFI illimité, une utilisation complète de la machine à laver et des livres, DVD, etc.
