  We moved to L´Ampolla from Barcelona 15 years ago with a project to to renovate (and basically save) a traditional finca - a house in the fields where in the past people only lived during the harvest, and now it has become a family home for the whole year, and a way of life.
  
  
  In January 2023 my partner Antonio died, and I was left alone with the project. I am a person who likes to live and celebrate each day in a simple and modest way - practicing Zen and yoga, playing music, caring for our garden and cooking healthy, ecological food.
  
  The girl on the picture is Baska, who is our dear friend and volunteer on plenty ocacions and she is going to manage a little bit the profile and contact with potentian travelers.

  Nos mudamos a L’Ampolla desde Barcelona hace 15 años con el proyecto de renovar (y básicamente salvar) una finca tradicional - una casa en el campo donde antes solo vivía la gente durante la cosecha, y ahora se ha convertido en una casa familiar para vivir todo el año.
  
  En enero 2023 murio mi pareja Antonio, y me quede sola con el proyecto. Soy una persona a la que le encanta vivir y celebrar cada día de una manera sencilla y modesta: practicando zen y yoga, tocando música, cuidando el jardín y cocinando comida saludable y ecológica.
  
  La chica de la foto es Baska, que es nuestra querida amiga y voluntaria en multitud de ocasiones y va a gestionar este perfil y contacto con los posibles viajeros.

  Kultureller Austausch und Lernmöglichkeiten

  I love music, I play the tambourine and attend singing classes where I learn traditional songs. I have been practicing Zen for over 30 years (meditating daily) and willingly share my knowledge on the subject and introduces the basics of meditation to travelers. I love to practice languages, we speak fluent Spanish, Catalan and French and I am learning English (level B1 - B2). I can share with our guests knowledge about Spanish cuisine and general knowledge about the garden and animals.

  Me encanta la música, y practicar con diferentes instrumentos y nos encanta cantar. Practico Zen durante más de 30 años (meditando a diario) y voluntariamente comparto mis conocimiento sobre el tema. Me encanta practicar idiomas, hablamo español, catalán y francés con fluidez y estoy aprendiendo inglés. Puedo compartir con nuestros invitados conocimientos sobre la cocina española y conocimientos generales sobre el jardín y los animales.

  Arbeit

  From September to November, we are looking for someone to help you pick algarrobos (Koraba fruits), almonds and olives. All of these tasks are fairly easy, but time consuming, and as we get older, we need help. It is an enjoyable and contemplative task that is a lot of fun as you fill your bags and baskets and spend time around the trees. In addition, we would like to get help in the garden: general maintenance such as harvesting, watering, replanting. etc. And in the middle of March-April-May, do a little more with tidying up the space after winter, maintaining and setting up some parts of the garden and the grounds that we have (this last one may require some proper knowledge about plants and gardening)

  De septiembre a noviembre, buscamos a alguien que nos ayude a recoger las algarrobas (frutos de Korab), almendras y aceitunas. Todos estos trabajos son bastante fáciles, pero requieren mucho tiempo y a medida que envejecemos,
  necesitamos ayuda. Es un trabajo agradable y contemplativo mientras llenas tus sacos y cestas y pasas tiempo alrededor de los árboles. Además, nos gustaría recibir ayuda en el jardín: mantenimiento general, riego, replantación. etc. Y a mediados de marzo-abril-mayo, hacer un poco más de orden del espacio después del invierno, manteniendo y acondicionando algunas partes del jardín y los terrenos que tenemos.

  Cute little detached house with private bathroom and outside kitchen. We will provide food for breakfast and a complete nutritious lunch with organic and local products. We do not do dinners, but you will have the kitchen at your disposal to make it yourself.

  The place where we live (Delta del Ebro) is unique and extraordinary because of its nature and culture. There is a lot to discover if you are into music or traditions. If you are more of a nature lover, you can spend your time visiting the nearby beaches and coves, which you can easily approach by walking, go river excursions, birdwatching, fishing or just strolling in beautiful places. If you prefer to relax, you can go to the beach or walk along the cliffs visiting small coves and swim in the crystal clear waters. For more adventurous people you can go snoorkeling, kitesurfing or paddle boarding all in the local area. The little port town we live in has plenty of restaurants and bars and some shops.

  El lugar donde vivimos (Delta del Ebro) es único y extraordinario por su naturaleza y cultura. Hay mucho por descubrir si te gusta la música o las tradiciones. Si eres más amante de la naturaleza, puedes pasar tu tiempo visitando las playas y calas cercanas, a las que puedes acceder caminando fácilmente, hacer excursiones por el río, observar aves, pescar o simplemente pasear por hermosos lugares. Para las personas más aventureras, se puede practicar snorkel, kitesurf o paddle surf, todo en el área local. La Ampolla es una pequeña ciudad portuaria que tiene muchos restaurantes, bares y tiendas.
