  Beschreibung

  Next opportunity would be for June 2025. We would prefer to receive someone until the end of July.
  
  We're a married couple with two amazing young boys.
  
  We're located in a beautiful village near the St-Lawrence river about 40 min east from Quebec City.
  
  We offer a private room with private bathroom with an intimate balcony that has an amazing view of the river and sunsets! We speak French and English at home (Jonathan can speak Spanish too).
  
  We expect around 5 hours of work each day with a flexible weekly schedule that we fix together and 2 days off (usually Thursday and Sunday).
  
  We can share with you a typical weekly schedule so that you can see what a typical week look like. You can expect a variety of tasks but nothing back breacking : playing with one of our boys, preparing 2 meals in the week, one morning of basic cleaning, help with the gardens or landscaping etc.
  
  We absolutely want a women with great love for children, good physical and mental health, who likes to interact and play with them.
  
  Our energic toddler (3.5 years old) can sometimes be more challenging to deal with, but we don't expect that you spend most of the time with him - he's wonderful but can be demanding. Hannah is always at home anyway so you are never totally alone with our children . Better that you know this in advance.
  
  We can teach many things about intensive small scale organic gardening, fruit trees, permaculture and food forest management etc. We're not a farm selling stuff outside ; we take care of our beautiful land (around 2 acres) to feed our family or friends, develop a good loving education for our children and enjoy the beauty of nature in an approach of integral ecology.
  
  We like to have a video-chat discussion before taking any commitment, using whattsapp as been the best.

  French and English improvement (Hannah is from USA and Jonathan is from Quebec, so we speak both languages at home). Gardening skills and knowledge, domestic organisation and children care. Discover Quebec, its history, nusic and culture. Philosophy with a cup of tea ?

  Arbeit

  Help with the children, cook some meals, help with improvement on the land or in the house, help with the gardens during the summer. In a spirit of freedom, dialogue and sharing. We have a weekly schedule so you know in advance what's coming and can plan accordingly.
  
  Aider avec les enfants, cuisiner certains repas, aider dans des travaux d'amélioration sur le terrain ou dans la maison, aider avec les jardins au printemps, à l'été.et l'automne. Dans un esprit de liberté, de dialogue et de partage. Nous faisons un horaire hebdomadaire qui permet à chacun de prévoir ses activités à l'avance.

  Unterkunft

  As you can see on the pictures : Private room and bathroom with balcony with one of the best view on the river and mountains of the north shore. For meals, we consider you has part of familly and usually can share together at least dinner. Of course there's no problem if you just want to eat alone or outside or in your room, you even have a little fridge and table in the room, so just let us know.

  Was noch ...

  Québec is 40 min drive (with international airport). Ferry from south shore to Quebec easy to reach. Nearby : islands to visit, beach to swim in the summer, we provide a bike and you can reach the beach or the marina to relax, small grocery store with basic stuff. You can use a car with licence if needed. Cities nearby : Montmagny, Lévis, Quebec. In the winter : country skiing and snowshoe trails at 5 min from home or directly here on our land, and way more to discover. In march-april we tap the maple trees and make syrup at home
