  We live in a tradtional riad house adjacent to our guesthouse. We have several buildings within the secure property, two pools, gardens and lots of pets. We are 13 km, 25 mins north of Marrakech city centre, easily accessible by bus or shared taxi. Marrakech is a fascinating city, with many cultural attractions, and a vibrant nightlife. All our family are involved in our guesthouse business plus we employ locals from surrounding villages.

  Workawayers will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in Moroccan culture and religion as part of an open-minded Anglo-Moroccan family. Food is a big part of our family life, as one of our hosts, Fatim-Zahra is a chef, trained in Moroccan cuisine, and we operate cooking workshops at our home. We enjoy the company of people from all cultures and walks of life - we travel regularly, and enjoy experiencing other countries and local cultures.

  Arbeit

  We are seeking workawayers with teaching experience who can assist with private tutoring of our 9 year old son, focusing especially on improving English spelling, reading and writing, plus maths (currently his level is UK year 4, but needs to catch up to year 5). Tutoring will be approx. 5 hours a day, Monday to Fridays, with immediate start over a 7 month period, through to June 2025.

  Unterkunft

  We offer a secure fully furnished private bedroom (heated in winter, air-conditioned in summer), with en-suite shower room including toilet and washbasin. It is located adjacent to the family house within the estate. All meals and bottled water are provided at the property during the stay.

  During time off it is possible to visit Marrakech, the nearby Atlas Mountains and desert. Our family own and operate several guesthouses in different beautiful locations, and if we have rooms available, workawayers are welcome to stay free of charge at these properties. Local shared taxis, buses or getting a ride in one of our company vehicles are options to travel locally. Use of drugs is not permitted.
