  Adventure, Sun, and Family Fun: Help Us Explore Crete & Beyond!
  About Us
  We are a high-energy family of four (plus our busy online marketing agency!) living the dream in beautiful Chania, Crete. Our home life is a mix of digital nomad hustle and Mediterranean relaxation. Our team consists of:
  
  Siel (8.5): Our curious explorer.
  
  Laor (3.5): Our ball of energy.
  
  Mom & Dad: Entrepreneurs who love what we do but need an extra pair of hands to keep the balance!
  
  We live in a villa surrounded by nature, featuring a refreshing pool and views of the sea that never get old. We are 15 minutes from the city center and very close to the airport, making us a perfect base for your Cretan adventures.
  
  The Project: Help & Harmony
  Because we run our agency from home, the lines between "work" and "life" can get a little blurry! We are looking for a responsible, fun-loving, and proactive person to join our "village."
  
  Your main role will be:
  
  The "Fun" Captain: Engaging with the boys (when they're not is school, playing in the pool, and keeping them entertained while we are in "deep work" mode.
  
  Home Harmony: Helping us keep the house in order (light tidying, keeping things organized).
  
  Parent Support: Giving us some much-needed "parents' time" without the boys.
  
  Summer 2026 Special: Join Our Road Trip! 🚐
  
  In August, we are planning an epic summer vacation. We’ll be heading for two weeks in the Black Forest area in Germany and then plan exploring Northern Greece (plans are still in the making) . We want someone who is excited to travel with us, and help keep the boys happy on the road (Traveling + lodging expences will be covered).

  I am a passionate cook and would love to share the secrets of traditional Greek and Mediterranean cuisine with you. From choosing the best local Cretan ingredients to mastering the perfect family feast, you’ll definitely leave our home with some new culinary skills.
  
  For the Aspiring Marketers:
  Since we run a top-tier online marketing agency, you can get a unique 'behind-the-scenes' glimpse into the digital marketing world. If you are interested in entrepreneurship, social media, or strategy, we are happy to share our knowledge and treat your stay like an informal marketing internship. We’d love to discuss ideas and trends over dinner!

  Beyond the help and the travel, we truly love the spirit of hosting. We believe we offer a great model for a high-functioning, entrepreneurial, and spiritually connected family. We live a fast-paced life workwise, but we stay grounded through our connection to nature and each other.

  We are looking for a proactive 'big brother' or 'big sister' figure who can jump into our family rhythm.
  Your primary focus will be our two boys, playing, swimming, and keeping them engaged while we are working .
  
  **During the school year, the boys are in school, which leaves you tons of free time to do whatever :)
  
  Since we run a busy agency from home, we also appreciate a hand with 'household harmony.' This isn't heavy cleaning, but rather helping keep the common areas tidy, clearing up after snacks/toys, and occasionally helping with simple meal prep. We travel as a team, so we need someone who is adaptable, organized, and enjoys the adventure of being in new places (like the Black Forest!) while keeping the kids' routine stable.
  
  We also sometimes need out parent time away from them, so some babysitting will be very helpfull :)
  
  
  We truly want our Workawayer to feel like an equal part of the family. Living together, traveling together, and learning from one another.

  You’ll have a private, cozy room in our villa with its own large balcony and a stunning sea view—perfect for sunsets and morning coffee. We deeply respect your privacy and space.

  Full use of the house and kitchen.
  
  On the Road: During our summer travels in Germany and Greece, we’ll provide our workawayer with a private, comfortable sleeping space in our travel accommodation.
  
  We cook at home from scratch every day and make sure we always have the freshest ingredients. We avoid processed food as much as possible and we welcome our guists to share our meals as well as propose their own. Workawayers will be invited to uests can join us when we go shopping at the local market, supermarket and butcher to pick their prefered meals, within reason of course :)

  Spirituality: We aren’t religious, but we keep both Jewish and Christian tradition during holidays. We respect all paths and ask for the same respect in return.
  
  Peaceful Vibes: We have a no-politics in the house rule. We prefer focusing on growth, travel, and good food!
  
  The Deal: We are very flexible and respectful of your space; in return, we appreciate a proactive, "can-do" attitude with us :)
  
  What you can do in your time off & Transport
  
  Crete is an explorer’s paradise! In your time off, you can visit world-famous beaches like Elafonisi or Balos, hike the majestic Samaria Gorge, or get lost in the charming alleys of Chania’s Old Town.
  
  Transport: We are located 15 minutes from Chania city center. While we can occasionally give you a lift when we’re heading out, there is a local bus network (KTEL) that connects our area to the city and the airport. For total freedom to explore the hidden mountain villages or remote beaches, many of our guests choose to rent a small scooter or car for a few days.
