Hi! We are a family of 4 from the small town of Keremeos, BC, Canada! We live in a ranch about 15 minutes outside of Keremeos. We have two beautiful daughters ages 6 and 4 years old. We spend lots of time outdoors, camping , riding, hiking, going to the beach or the river. Our daughters are just getting into barrel racing so we attend those frequently. We are a laid back family who likes animals and the outdoors.

We enjoy and outdoor healthy lifestyle . We would love to share our language with you in exchange to learn yours! We enjoy cooking healthy meals at home and sharing meals together as a family.

Arbeit
We are looking to host someone who wants to join our family and help around the house, help us start/maintain a garden for more sustainable living and learn/share a new language. Ideally you like horses, dogs, and kids. We would like someone who is trustworthy and has a kind nature. Our family needs an extra set of hands to help with everyday things: running errands (e.g. grocery shopping), cooking, housework, helping take care of our dogs (walks, pick up poop, etc). We would like someone who enjoys cooking and would like to assist me with prepping meals for the family.

Unterkunft
Private bedroom with shared bathroom
We provide 3 meals a day (usually breakfast, lunch, and dinner) in exchange for your help. Meals are home-cooked and we try to eat together when possible. We’re happy to accommodate most dietary preferences if discussed in advance. We usually provide ingredients and take turns cooking. If you enjoy being in the kitchen, we’d love for you to share your favorite dishes too!

Keremeos is known as the fruit stand capital of BC! We have access to fresh fruits and vegetables all grown locally in the Okanagan. Keremeos is a small town but we are a 40 minute drive from Osoyoos and Penticton, two popular beach towns that we visit frequently, especially in the summer. Keremeos and the surrounding area is very scenic being surrounded by mountains with access to amazing hiking, creeks/rivers, wineries and vineyards making it ideal for the nature or outdoor enthusiast. In the winter you can access great skiing at Apex Mountain only 40 minutes away. We can provide shared access to our vehicle.
