  Beschreibung

  The place was born from the idea of sharing a beautiful space located in the heart of the Amazon rainforest, just 5 minutes from the Amazon River and 40 minutes by boat from the city of Iquitos, Peru. It is a new project with great potential. Initially, we have family help and three people who receive a salary and take care of the farm work such as cultivating, planting, and carpentry. Occasionally, we hire people for short periods of a couple of weeks for specific jobs such as building cabins, maintenance, repairing fish ponds, etc.
  
  Hostal nace de la idea de compartir un espacio hermoso ubicado en el corazon de la selva amazónica a tan solo 5 minutos del rio Amazonas y 40 minutos en bote de la ciudad de Iquitos Perú ,Se trata de un proyecto nuevo con mucho potencial, inicialmente contamos con ayuda familiar y tres personas que reciben salario y se encargan de las labores del campo como cultivar, sembrar y carpintería, eventualmente se emplean personas por periodos cortos de un par de semanas para trabajos específicos como construcción de cabañas, manutención, reparación de lagunas para peces etc

  We offer exchanges in gastronomy, art, language, music, bioconstruction techniques, carpentry, marketing, or any other knowledge we could share. Volunteers can offer their expertise in their area of greatest strength. Currently, we need volunteers with experience in social media and marketing, but we are open to welcoming positive individuals with any practical skills they wish to share. Activities include jungle hikes, birdwatching, boating, fishing on the Amazon River, observing pink dolphins, or visiting Monkey Island (the costs of some activities, such as boat rentals or entrance fees to nature sanctuaries, are the responsibility of the participants). However, the location itself offers many free outdoor activities, such as enjoying a beautiful natural pool, observing birds, butterflies, and other animals, or simply relaxing with a good book in a hammock.
  
  Intercambios gastronómicos, artísticos, lingüísticos, musicales, técnicas de bioconstrucción, carpintería, marketing, o algún otro conocimiento que pudiéramos intercambiar , los voluntarios pueden ofrecer sus conocimientos en el área que mejor se desempeñen, en la actualidad necesitamos voluntarios con experiencia en redes sociales y marketing, pero estamos dispuestos a recibir personas de buena actitud con cualquier tipo de habilidad práctica que quiera compartir, entre las actividades que podemos realizar hay caminatas en la selva, observación de aves, navegar pescar en el rio Amazonas observar delfines rosados o visitar la isla de los monos (los gastos de algunas actividades corren por cuenta de los interesados como alquiler de lanchas o entradas a santuarios naturales)
  Pero en si el lugar cuenta con muchas actividades al aire libre sin ningún costo como disfrutar de una hermosa piscina natural observar aves, mariposas y algunos otros animales o simplemente relajarse leyendo un buen libro en una hamaca

  Arbeit

  General tasks include simple maintenance, occasional cooking, gardening, helping with cleaning, feeding chickens and fish, and social media management (if you have experience). We don't have a specific schedule, and the work isn't forced; it's more about cultural exchange and promoting the area in the future. We're open to any help you can offer.
  
  Trabajos en general mantenimientos simples, cocinar algunas veces, trabajos de huerta , ayudar con la limpieza, alimentar gallinas y peces, trabajo en redes sociales (si cuentan con experiencia), no trabajamos con un horario específico, tampoco son trabajos forzados, la verdad se trata más de un intercambio cultural y de promocionar el lugar a futuro. Estamos abiertos a cualquier propuesta de ayuda que puedan ofrecer.

  Unterkunft

  Large, recently restored cabin with a beautiful 360° view amidst the Amazonian landscape, completely protected with mosquito netting, small bathroom, access to a beautiful river within the property, very spacious and clean kitchenette, access to a beautiful 100m x 30m natural pool surrounded by palm trees, native plants, and fruit trees. The property is approximately 4 hectares filled with fruit trees and mature plants. Guests also have access to the main house, with the option of staying on the second floor or in the cabin. Meals and tasks will be shared, ensuring fairness and enjoyment for everyone. The food is 100% natural and fresh, with vegan options available. Most products are sourced locally and from the garden, such as fruits, vegetables, chicken, and fish. Some items like rice, sugar, and oil are purchased in town, but overall, the food is very healthy. The different dishes are chosen in consultation with visitors and volunteers, offering an interesting blend of international flavors. The food is 100% natural and fresh, with vegan options available. The products are mostly sourced locally, such as fruits, vegetables, chicken, and fish. Some items like rice, sugar, and oil are purchased in the city, but overall the food is very healthy.   Cabaña grande recién restaurada con hermosa vista 360 ° en medio de paisajes amazónicos completamente protegida con mallas antimosquitos, baño pequeño, acceso a un hermoso rio dentro de la propiedad, cosina tipo laboratorio muy espaciosa y limpia, acceso a una hermosa piscina natural de 100m x 30 m rodeada de palmas, plantas nativas y frutales, la propiedad es aproximadamente 4 hectáreas llena de árboles frutales y plantas maestras, también cuentan con acceso a la casa principal con la posibilidad de quedarse en el 2 piso o en la cabaña si lo desea

  La alimentación es 100% natural y fresca, hay opciones veganas si lo desean, los productos son en gran mayoría extraidos de la región y de la huerta, como las frutas , verduras, pollo o pescado, algunos productos son comprados en la ciudad como arroz, azúcar, aceite, etc pero en general la comida es muy saludable, los diferentes platos son de común acuerdo con los visitantes y voluntarios, es una mezcla de sabores internacional muy interesante.

  Please contact me beforehand to explain how to get there. If you can't call, you can go directly to the port of Nanay in Iquitos and take an early boat to Santamaría del Ojeal. The last boat leaves at 3:00 pm. In Santamaría, ask for Oscar's house and anyone can give you directions, or I can pick you up at the town's port.
