Beschreibung
We would love to host other Irish people looking to learn new skills, maybe somebody between homes.
Our house is a whirlwind of kids, pets, and horses
We need somebody who can jump in and help. Life can be busy here but we love to welcome new volunteers into our family team
Some of the daily activities here are timber cutting, landscaping, using tools, stable management, feeding, horse handling, dog walking and kennel cleaning ect. Childminding. No horse riding
Please message us if you want to experience some country living.
A share room with a family member (teen-ager)
We live close to Dunmore Co. Galway. Buses to and from Galway and Sligo pass through our village every day. This a rural place and the local village is 4km away, by foot, bike or car.
Please write 'Family Farm' in the subject./response. This will let us know that you have read our profile and understand some of our lifestyle.

We have had a break from hosting.
We have hosted many volunteers and pride ourselves on their involvement with our family. You will be one of us! This is a cultural exchange, only. A voluntary exchange between parties for not monetary exchange/loss/or compensation
Our friends and neighbors are here alot so you can learn from many Irish debates!

I had left things unsaid because I was very saddened by your sudden departure. A note on the kitchen table is not an appropriate way to leave. We are very open here to all walks of life and and having 2 Spanish here at the time was just the way it worked out. As for my partner being away, as you may understand that is a big adjustment for… read more
She even helped on the farm. very willing to take part in our normal crazy every day life.
It was unfortunate the due to her type of visa she couldn't say longer. We would have her back anytime
However she left abruptly to follow another experience, totally up to her.
I was sorry to lose her and left in the lurch.

I stayed one month with Ami, Paul, Leyla, Cooper and Freya. All of them are very welcoming and you soon become a member of the family rather than just a member of staff. The kids seemed to enjoy spending time with the workawayers and get used to "strangers" very quickly.… read more
