  Beschreibung

  Our family is composed by two parents (German and Italian) two children (6 and 4 years old). We live in beautiful Rieti in the centre of Italy and enjoy the nature around here very much, with mountains, lakes, a lot of green forests. We have a big garden and plant some organic food, so you can help us there.
  We have had two workawayers so far and are looking forward to hosting people who bring a smile and some new ideas to our home, so that our children can continue to learn to be open minded and receive at our home people from different parts of the world.
  
  We would be happy to host someone for at least one month, longer would be better.

  We love travelling and have travelled to many places in the world with and before we had our kids. We love to speak with our guests about our cultural experiences, love to take our guests to local cultural events and show them how living in Italy is.

  Arbeit

  Being a family with both parents working full-time, we are looking for a person who can help us a bit with the household, garden, our cat, and the children. In the household you would help us with the usual duties, like dish washing, cooking, laundry, etc, just as we also do (like a flatmate). And for working in our garden, we will need your help and some experience would be appreciated. Your task would also be to prepare the kids for school in the morning and play with them after school or stay with them if they are sick. Our children love to play in the house and also outside.
  The person coming to our house should speak and understand some Italian, as a language course is unfortunately not available in our city. You should like cooking and should have some experience with gardening and childcare. In your free time you can visit Rieti and the surroundings, go hiking, to the gym, etc.

  Unterkunft

  We live in the historical centre of Rieti, everything is in walking distance. We can host you in one room with sofa bed and shared bath room. We like to cook and try to have fresh local food as often as possible. In Italian we say “aggiungi un posto an tavola” , so it is no problem to simply add a place at the table and eat with the family. Our guests can use our kitchen also in autonomy and can use the washing machine.

  A bus goes every 30 minutes from Rieti to Rome and back, it takes about 1,5 to 2 hours per ride.
