  I live on 41 acres or private and isolated bushland it just me my cats, chooks and the wildlife. My place is isolated I live in the middle of the bush, and I am 30km's from two small towns and 58 km's to the next biggest one. I have chickens and cats. I eat mainly organic foods, but it does depend on what's available. I am gluten free and cannot eat nightshade plants.
  
  I am providing food and accommodation in return for a few hours work a day. I do not work all hours of the day myself as I have a spinal fusion and tend to work slowly and carefully. As I also have one of my houses rented out we will have to be quiet or go out while guests are here. The mobile phone coverage is not good until you log onto the Wi Fi which you can use.
  
  I can pick up anyone who would like to stay from the local town of Muswellbrook.

  The Hunter Valley is known for it's wineries, horses, coal mines and has some places of historical significance being one of the earlier settled places and convict penal settlements were dotted around here. There is a small museum in the town of Merriwa, a couple of local wineries nearby and a cheese making factory in Muswellbrook. I have lived a lot and have a lot of stories to tell if you are interested and I love meeting new people. I can show you how to look after chooks in the most natural way but sometimes western medicines are needed. I am still setting up my gardens but when I do, I will be employing the method of companion planting and other methods to keep pests away not chemicals.

  Arbeit

  I need help with all sorts of work. Such as fencing, gardening, chopping firewood, fixing problems around the house, help with electrics and plumbing would be great but not necessary. I do almost everything by myself through watching you tube videos. But somethings are a little harder. I am a wildlife help volunteer so some of my work includes helping injured and sick wildlife. If you are here, you can also come with me and assist me with this if you wish to.

  Unterkunft

  I host guests on a different platform, when I have guests you will definitely have to sleep with me in my house on a mattress on the floor. Otherwise, you can sleep in a bed in the main house and watch TV or play games over there. If you opt to stay in the main house you will have to remake the bed, vacuum and change the sheets each time guests are booked in. I do not usually get last minute bookings, but it can happen.

  While guests are here, we can take a drive out to the wineries or explore the local area if you wish. While at my place you will be welcome to use the sauna once at the end of at least 5 days' work (providing I have no guests staying). You can watch TV in your spare time, read, play board games, have a chat or do whatever else you would like to do.
  
  I do have an electric bike you can use but it is virtually impossible to get around without a car.
  
  I get up early but start my day slowly and generally enjoy the serenity and my cats.
