Beschreibung
My wife and I live in central Italy (Umbria) in a beautiful valley where we cultivate many olive and fruit trees and have a vegetable garden. In summer time we run a B&B and in spring and autumn we host Workawayers for helping planting, pruning and harvesting. We are so to say in the middle of nature!

We are living in the countryside, especially in a valley where you will experience the life close to nature. Ourselves we are from the Netherlands, but are very internationally oriented, and love to learn new cultures.
Arbeit
We look for help to plant our new olive trees. The days are short, so we may have lunch in the field followed by evening in our house, where we will be cooking. Of course we will take you once in a while to the nearby city of Orvieto for you to explore. You will be learning laying out the land, about different varieties of trees at different locations, planting, irrigation etc. But also the day to day life in the "Italian campagna".

Unterkunft
You will have a room of your own, or if you come with a friend, we also have double rooms. You will have your own bathroom. We will eat together in the kitchen.
Was noch ...
The place is quite in the countryside. Walking around is endless, but for a local village we need a car. We are envisaging to take you occasionally in town, or to the Orvieto railway station (for trips to e.g. Arrezzo, Firenze, Rome) and collect you later during the day, and of course you are always able to join us for shopping etc.
We have a few house rules, one of them is no-smoking.
