I'm a young Dutch guy and live in the centre of a vibrant market town called Condom in the South West of France. I have seperate living accomodation and am looking for help with mainly cooking and cleaning and general housekeeping chores at my private house.

Condom is known for the production of Armagnac, an international music festival of "bandas", an international chess tournament and an international chess marathon. It is also known for its tourism with farm campings and boating on waterways. It is home to a museum about Armagnac and just 2 hours from cities of Bordeaux, Pau and Toulouse. Also 2 hours away from the beautiful Pyreneean mountains and the Spanish border.

There are very helpfull couple and they do it happily. At the same time they are modest. they are thorough and very friendly. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at The Hotel . The work was varied: cooking, gardening, waitressing, ironing and cleaning. The hotel is beautiful and has wonderful art nouveau posters on the walls. The town is small with about 9,000 inhabitants and the people are very friendly and welcoming. I had the most incredible three weeks in Condom France. A big thank you to my host and to my fellow workers who made my Work Away experience incredible. The work was varied, 4-5 hours five days a week, the food was plentiful and the hotel beautiful. What a great way to experience the French Countryside!
