  It all started in 2015 with just an umbrella and 4 surfboards on Sayulita's main beach.
  We have grown a lot over the years. Today we traded the umbrella for a tent and we opened our very own shop.
  We provide tailored lessons for both beginners and intermediate surfers in Sayulita, but we also offer exclusive lessons and surf trips in the laid-back breaks of Punta de Mita.

  But our offerings go beyond just surfing: from board rentals to sunset bonfires, It's not just about catching waves; we're genuinely curious about your story and are passionate about building a connection that goes beyond the surfboard.

  Hang out in our shared rustic Palapa, it's just you and one more person!
  
  We'll teach you how to surf or help you level up your skills. Use our surfboards whenever you feel like catching some waves on your own. Plus, if you're in for it, hop on with us for surf trips (depending on availability).
  
  But that's not all! Get ready for a dose of Mexican culture. We'll show you around different spots and beaches along the Riviera Nayarit. And of course, you can't miss out on soaking up the awesomeness of Sayulita – it's a pretty cool town.

  We have ONE volunteer position available at our surf school, and we are looking for individuals with hands-on experience in one of the following fields:
  Sales Representative, Digital Marketer with experience in SEO, or Photographer / Videographer.

  1. Sales Representative.
  Are you an outgoing person who talks easily to strangers and has at least basic knowledge of surfing? Read on! this opportunity might be a fit
  
  Our Surf School is looking for responsible and enthusiastic volunteers to join our team on the beach!
  
  Position Description:
  You will be an essential part of our sales, promoting our services and ensuring the smooth operation of our shop. Together with a colleague, you'll be responsible for selling surf lessons, board rentals, and surf trips. This role requires someone who is not afraid to speak with strangers, who has basic surfing knowledge, and who is willing to learn more about our offerings.
  
  What we are looking for:
  Responsible, reliable, and proactive volunteers.
  Open and approachable attitude towards strangers.
  Basic knowledge of surfing, including essential tasks like putting on a leash, changing fins, and waxing.
  Eagerness to learn more about surf equipment and services.
  
  A minimum commitment of 3 weeks is required.
  You will be working in 5-hour shifts

  2. Digital Marketer with experience in SEO
  Are you a skilled digital marketer with a deep understanding of search engine optimization (SEO)? We are looking for your help!
  
  Position Description:
  As our Digital Marketer with SEO Expertise, you will help to improve our website's performance and increase its visibility in search engine results pages (SERPs). You'll develop and implement comprehensive SEO strategies, do keyword research, and optimize website content.
  
  What we are looking for:
  Proven experience in digital marketing with a focus on SEO, including keyword research, on-page optimization, and technical SEO.
  A good understanding of SEO principles and best practices, as well as familiarity with SEO tools.
  Analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to make informed decisions.
  
  A minimum commitment of 3 weeks is required.
  You will be working in 5-hour shifts

  3. Photographer / Videographer
  Are you a creative storyteller with a passion for capturing moments through both still images and moving visuals? We want you on our team!
  
  Position Description:
  As our Photographer / Videographer, you'll play a crucial role in visually representing our surf school and capturing the essence of the surfing experience. From amazing photographs to captivating videos, you'll use your creative vision to showcase our services, lessons, and surf trips.
  
  Proficiency in both photography and videography, including camera operation, lighting, composition, and editing.
  Strong portfolio showcasing your photography and/or videography skills, with an eye for storytelling and aesthetics.
  Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with the team and bring creative ideas to life.
  
  A minimum commitment of 3 weeks is required.
  You will be working in 5-hour shifts

  Unterkunft

  We offer accommodation in a rustic palapa designed for a volunteer! Your stay includes a bed with a mosquito net, a fan, and space for your belongings. There is a bathroom with a shower (cold water) and a small kitchen area where you can cook your meals. WiFi, food, and drinking water are available for free and you will share the space with another person.
  
  Please note that due to the natural materials used in the palapa, smoking, lighting candles, or open fires are not allowed. Furthermore, out of respect for the privacy of our volunteers and our own, we kindly request that visitors are not brought in during your stay.
  
  In town, you'll find many budget-friendly restaurants, as well as many small supermarkets offering a variety of items such as fruits, vegetables, meat, fish, and more.

  Our surf shop is located close to the center and excellent beaches with a relaxed vibe, you don't need transportation because the town is very small and everything is within walking distance! Sayulita has an excellent night life, good food, beautiful jungles and beaches and you will get to know people from all over the world.
