We are a young professional couple with 3 great school aged children (7-14yrs) who would like more time on weekends with our kids. At the moment we spend this time ironing, food prepping, home maintenance etc and would love some help keeping on top of it. It would be awesome if guests were able to help with homework etc of an afternoon but not essential.
We have thoroughly enjoyed having international workawayers in our house pre covid and it has been a great experience for us and for our kids.
We have a separate living and kitchen area downstairs which means workawayer can prepare their own meals and also as of an evening we like to have some space and time alone with the kids. Applicants who can entertain themselves a few days per week would be the best fit for our family at the moment as we unfortunately have limited time to take sight seeing etc. We still go for hikes etc which you'd be welcome to come along.

We are a family of dad, mum and three kids (14, 12 and 7yrs old) who live in a large house north of Brisbane. I know we are biased but I'd describe our kids as easy, happy kids who are probably a bit fed up with overworked parents :). The home is an idyllic location with train access to Brisbane city, a lovely local 'village' to explore and endless beach front walks. We are open to a solo female or travelling couple who are able to help out with basic household tasks and some supervision of the children. We also have two very cute dogs who would love some additional company. The rest of the time we encourage workawayers to be pretty independent to plan local trips / adventures independently or occasionally we can take you on day trips etc as we have done with previous workawayers. We have had a number of workawayers now and do best when guests use initiative to help with cleaning and other household jobs with minimal direction. Ideally if it is a good 'fit' between worker and us and ideally (but not essential) you can longer. There are no strict time frames though but minimum of one month.

Alojamiento
Like a self contained flat downstairs - Queen bed, private room, own kitchen and bathroom. We live upstairs. Photos are of your area 😊. Oh and the pool and yard are ideal for summer. We will provide linen, etc so all you need bring clothes and toiletries. We prefer that workawayers purchase and prepare their own meals downstairs so we can have some time alone with the kids after work.

Lovely relaxed area to live! Right by the beach and parks and some local bars, restaurants and parks to explore all within walking distance.
