  We are a friendly hostel in the coastal city of Zadar, Croatia. We need help with reception and cleaning and are looking for dynamic and hardworking people to stay at least three months. We are open from April 1st to October 15th and need help for the entire season. We offer free accommodation (during less busy months, there is an option at the hostel, during busier months (or for the entirety of stay if preferred), at a shared (total three people) 2 room/kitchenette/1 bathroom very small apartment 80 meters from the beach and 8km from the hostel (must be willing to bike back and forth)), and we ask for 40 hours a week, paid at the Croatian minimum wage. No smokers please.

  Zadar has a rich 3,000-year-old history and a vibrant old town. We are within driving distance of four national parks (Paklenica, Krka, Plitvice, Kornati and Telascica) and we partner with many day tours you can book at a very reduced price (this option is only available to our volunteers). The local islands offer stunning nature, and are accessible by cheap local ferries year-round. We are more than happy to help you discover the rich culture and nature of the Zadar region by answering your questions and helping you plan day trips, walking tours of the Old Town, island visits, hikes in Velebit National Park, museum visits, etc. We are our ourselves huge nature lovers and have explored many of the off-the-beaten trails/archeological sites in Zadar, on the local islands, and in the nearby Velebit National Park - we're happy to give you all the info we've picked up ourselves.

  Arbeit

  FROM APRIL 1 TO OCTOBER 15: We ask for 40 hours a week, paid hourly at the Croatian minimum wage. We offer a place to stay in a shared dorm or apartment with other employees. We have a huge communal kitchen and hang-out areas and are a clean, friendly, non-party hostel.
  We need energetic and friendly people who clean well, pay attention to detail, and can handle reception and guest needs.

  Unterkunft

  Studio-esque apartment 50 meters from the sea, and 8 km from the hostel, shared with other volunteers. In off-season we can give you your own room at the hostel depending on availability.

  There are endless possibilities for time off, including four national parks in the vicinity, and local islands to explore. Old Town usually has something interesting and free to offer, and is just a 25 minute walk from the hostel.
