  Hello, and welcome to this page :)
  
  The place is an traditional farm, close to Grenoble in France, up in the hill.
  Mainly managed by Thierry, there is also family, friends, worker, woofer, traveler around.. ;) depends of the moment and rhythm of the life :)
  2 kids sometime also, Timothé aged 11 years and Zephir 7 years, mainly around the week end and some day in vacation.
  
  The project here is to link art/agriculture/handcraft :) open the space and the possibility. Sharing authentic moment and human beeing. Make connection between urban/rural, wild/domestic, art/agriculture/nature/human, inside/outside.... ... . .. . well, general thing talking, but concret
  
  The farm is located in the forest on the upper hill of a small village called Murianette. The place offers a beautiful scenery on the city of Grenoble and the mountains surrounding it (Vercors and Chartreuses) but also the valley where the urban jungle is swarming in a discontinuous movement, great for meditation ;) The region is famous (depending on the season) for hiking, climbing, biking, skiing and swimming activities.
  
  The place have been bought in 2018 with the intention of developing and connecting agricultural and artistic activities on the farm.
  Thierry is a beekeeper for 15 year now runing ecological hives "warré" and love to pratices dance like contact improvisation. A sharing and connection practice that has also drive him to buy the land and make the dance studio project on a farm (with also for the funky disco 70's beat dance for the fun ^^ folk with live music, or ecstatic dance party for free spirit ;) Thierry was a super geek before, made studies in comptuer, marketing and communication, but never wanted to work in this sector.. He decided to change life, make one gap year to help homeless people around Grenoble, and travel between 25 to 30 making studies again in natural medecine and ethnomedicine. Travelling is the best way for me to connect to yourself and other, so the place is happy to host :)
  
  The project is growing as rhythm of the life, and the mojo word would be "sharing" and "autonomy".
  Basically the red line is to continuing with the beekeeping as well as a substainable vegetable garden, planting fruit trees and taking care of animals for the family and guests. There was some donkeys, sheeps, pigs,chickens.. actually there is just chicken, bees, and cajune, the wonder chasing cat ;) the focus is to finish the process of renovation and especialty the dance studio which could be used in many ways (artistic residencies, workshops, yoga, concerts at the farm, cinema, etc...), renovate the guest house, continue improving (solar system, outdoor kitchen/toilet/shower, wood sauna, biogaz..). Coming back more seriously with agriculture linked with the autonomous project of the place (vege, chicken, lamb..) would be after that, and/or with some people who want to invest the place and develop there own activities :)
  
  The dream, vision and believed is that connection and bridges between art, agriculture and art craft are connecting human soul and can extend his reality and beauty. It is not only "perched" but "anchored" ;) Looking for the stars, but the feets and the hands in the ground.. The place is trying to be as ecological and self sufficient as possible in the way we live, build, eat, travel... (perma for the modern term :) There is some experiment and creating systems to be autonomous in the energy and food in process (solar, biogaz, running water electricity..)

  Travelers have the possibility to learn about beekeeping, ecological building methods, gardening, and what it can mean to live a bit isolated in the mountains :-)
  It is also possible to learn french and cultural exchange.

  Arbeit

  There is many things to do on a farm, depending the season.. mostly we need help with building and renovating existing buildings, constructing new infrastructures such as compost toilets, solar showers, water irrigation, keeping the garden and land in a good shape, taking care or playing with children... Cooking and cleaning are also welcome. But must important, good company and easy going person to share moment and live with :)
  
  The project now is open and looking at this time a person/couple to live and invest in the place some project in mid/long term.

  Unterkunft

  It is possible to host 3 workaway at the same time. There is the guest house (in process for renovation) and caravan/yurt.
  In winter time there is two room in the guest house (at the moment) or one caravan (heated) we can offer to our guests for sleeping (double bed, small cooking area and storing).
  In spring summer to autumn a yurt is mounted. There is another caravan.
  You will have access to the house guest, kitchen, compost toilets and a bathroom (with hot water, insteed there is the river too ^^).
  Food is life !! :)) Food will be provided. You just manage your addiction ;) (coffee, tobacco, chocolate..). It is also the moment to share, have a moment together, the preference is to cook and eat together, like a family, common sense of cleaning and sharing the task. I love cooking and eating, love discover and sharing new recipe from you :)) Veg are welcome and respected the same way you respect other if they not/different. There is no obligation, as if it possible to have some meals, time alone and separated also, for a healthy habit and respect needs of each other. The most important is to communicate. So, how we organize for breakfast and evening meals could be discussed individually according to your specific needs and wishes :)

  Please notice too that the farm is isolated in the forest and that you can only access it with a 4x4 or a 20 min walk in the forest. This requires some logistic as soon as you want to take off for some adventures in Grenoble or in the surroundings ! There a 4x4 and are happy come pick you up if needed.
  From the village of Murianette, there is a regular bus going to the center of Grenoble from 25 min. Another way to get to town is to ride a bike about 45 min along the river side.
  Grenoble has many museums, bars, concert halls, etc.. If you are not so into going to the city but prefer hiking or other outdoor activities, you will find your paradise in the alps in the mountains, lakes, rivers.. great places to hike and climbing, skiing too. There are possibilities to reach the surrounding nature with public transportation. We can guide you to some places or help you with choosing your activities. There is also a train station in Gières which is about 15 min away from our house.
