  We are an outdoor day spa located in the heart of Cambodia's nature by the well-known Kampot River.
  My partner and I are Canadian in our 40s. We don't have children but we have a beautiful rescue dog, our baby.
  We are very welcoming and we are always thrilled to meet new people and to show all the wonderful places we have discovered in our last 7 years living in Cambodia.
  We opened the spa 5 years ago and we became quickly very popular with travelers and locals.
  We have had the same 6 staff members since we opened so we are like a big family.

  Most of our staff don't speak english but they are always eager to learn new words and very curious about foreigners, you will have lunch with them everyday and taste very authentic Khmer food.
  
  We like to share what we learned in our time in Cambodia, from the secret waterfalls, the plants, the culture, the food, to a great work ethic and a wonderful experience to add to your resume.

  If you have experience in video editing, photography, and marketing/promoting business, we are always looking for new social media content material. We are looking for ways to reach the younger crowd of travelers so any help with that with be useful.
  For this position, we take volunteers from one to two weeks depending on your experience, quality of work and productivity.
  
  -Beach attendant/Customer service/hostess
  We need someone to interact with the guests and show by example to our local staff proper customer service and meaningful interaction. You should be able to quickly understand our spa treatment menu and to explain different options to customers. Your priority should be a friendly yet professional contact with the client and showing our local staff a good work ethic. Honesty and a genuine positive attitude are essential. We would like a 2 to 3 weeks commitment for this position but a longer stay would definitely be an option.
  
  -Teaching English
  You would teach English to our Cambodian staff. They are all beginners. You would organize your lessons by yourself, they are motivated to learn but it takes a lot of patience from the teacher.
  
  Couples and friends that make a good team are welcome as much as single travelers, just remember that we are a spa and a quiet environment is essential when we have guests around. Fluent English is necessary.
  
  We don't book our workawayers months ahead. Contact me a maximum of 3-4 weeks before your arrival.

  Unterkunft

  We have one private cabin for our workaway helpers with a double bunk bed. It is rustic but comfortable. You will have acces to a full kitchen and bathroom. We are 10km away from the city center in a rural area.
  Food is provided - 25 hours/week , 5 days
  There's a decent wifi in the common area.
  You can do your laundry for free.
  We like to do saunas at the end of the day, play some board games and have a little drink but if you need constant entertainment and company this might not be the place for you. If you have initiative, enjoy being active and want a place to cleanse your mind and drop your bags for a little while you are at the right place.

  The spa is located 10km outside town, you will need to put your hand on a scooter/motobike to get around or you can use tuktuks. I go in town at least once a week, you are welcome to come with me.
  We have a local fruit and vegetable vendor that comes to the house every morning. We also have a baker that comes to deliver fresh bread at least once a week.
  Kampot is located 2.5 hours away from the capital Phnom Penh, 3 hours away from the islands and 45 minutes away from Kep, a peaceful fishing village by the sea.
  Kampot has a beautiful welcoming community of people from around the world, you can easily make friends. You can also visit the salt fields, Bokor Mountain, banana plantations and the pepper plantations. There's many yoga and different classes around town.
