  We are an outdoor day spa located in the heart of Cambodia's nature by the well-known Kampot River.
  My partner and I are Canadian in our 40s. We don't have children but we have 2 beautiful dogs, our babies. We started this project 6 years ago and only hired from the villages around where working opportunities are difficult. They are mainly women with families that can now provide and coming back at home after work for taking care of their families.
  We are very welcoming and we are always thrilled to meet new people and to show all the wonderful places we have discovered in our last 8 years living in Cambodia.
  We opened the spa 6 years ago and we became quickly very popular with travelers and locals.
  We have had the same staff members since we opened so we are like a big family.

  Most of our staff don't speak english but they are always eager to learn new words and very curious about foreigners, you will have lunch with them everyday and taste very authentic Khmer food.
  
  We like to share what we learned in our time in Cambodia, from the secret waterfalls, the plants, the culture, the food, to a great work ethic and a wonderful experience to add to your resume.

  We welcome volunteers to join us for a cultural exchange while helping us improve our website and menus. This is a great opportunity to learn about running a small spa in Cambodia while sharing your skills in a collaborative way.
  
  If you have experience in hospitality, marketing, or design, we’d love to hear your ideas! Tasks may include:
     •   Giving creative input on our website layout and content
     •   Photography, video editing, social media content creation
     •   Sharing marketing insights or brainstorming ways to enhance our online presence
  - Interact with customers, answer questions, guide them through their spa experience
  
  
  We see this as a learning opportunity for both sides—volunteers can gain insight into the wellness industry in Cambodia while supporting our local team with fresh ideas.
  
  Couples, friends, and solo travelers are all welcome, but since we are a spa, maintaining a peaceful environment for guests is essential. Fluent English is required.
  
  We only confirm volunteers 1 to 2 months ahead. No need to request availability further than that.

  Unterkunft

  We have one private cabin for our workaway helpers with a double bed and mosquito net. It is rustic but comfortable. You will have acces to a full kitchen and bathroom. We are 10km away from the city center in a rural area.
  Food is provided - 25 hours/week , 5 days
  There's a decent wifi but not super fast.
  You can do your laundry for free.
  We like to do saunas at the end of the day, play some board games and have a little drink but if you need constant entertainment and company this might not be the place for you. If you have initiative, enjoy being active and want a place to cleanse your mind and drop your bags for a little while, you are at the right place.

  The spa is located 10km outside town, you will need to put your hand on a scooter/motobike to get around or you can use tuktuks. I go in town at least once a week, you are welcome to join me.
  We have a local fruit and vegetable vendor that comes to the house every morning. We also have a baker that comes to deliver fresh bread at least once a week.
  Kampot is located 2.5 hours away from the capital Phnom Penh, 3 hours away from the islands and 45 minutes away from Kep, a peaceful fishing village by the sea.
  Kampot has a beautiful welcoming community of people from around the world, you can easily make friends. You can also visit the salt fields, Bokor Mountain, banana plantations and the pepper plantations. There's many yoga and different classes around town.
